$80.92   $8 for shippping, the majority of it was the puller. The springs were about $35 total, and the puller was around $35 or something there abouts.

me either. I have the idea that it threads into the center of the clutch, and the end of it bumps against the back, so that when you turn it, instead of it threading further into the clutch, the clutch threads along the stud, untill it slides off.

arent the puller threads left hand threads as well?

And I think u will like the marron primary.. thats what Im running with a red secondary on stock weights and I love it.. the maroon gives me the stall I like and the red holds the belt nice n tight for me. All the stall is gonna do for u is bring ur rpms up more into ur torque range.. if U dont like the marron primary after a while I have a Pink Primary for sale and a almond secondary for sale if ur interested

the puller threads are right hand threads but the primary bolt threads are left handed threads. Also when you go to put it back together make sure your torque wrnench will torque both ways. My el-cheapo torque wrench only clicks one way so I ended up tightening The bolt WAY to far and had to pop it off and start over after buying a good torque wrench.

When I pulled my primary off it doesn't just "slide" off. LOL I had to put everthing I had into it then when it gave the whole thing fell on the floor board and I went face first into the handle bars. It hurt pretty bad. LOL

the primary bolt threads are reverse but the puller threads are normal.  just use a air impact on the bolt and the puller.  i use it on mine and it pops right off.  if i remembe right the bolt is a 17mm, the puller is a 19mm, and t secondary nut is a 24mm.  i could be wrong but i that sounds right to me.

the instructions said specifically not to use air tools, I dont have any of them anyway so I dont have a choice but to do it the MANLY way... which means grunt and scratch and grunt some more. haha..

Shock69... How much stall? I went w/ the maroon b/c I thought I wouldnt have much noticable (if any) stall?

it is VERY difficult to get that primary off without an air tool for the puller.  good luck with that.  LOL  i understand not using air to put it all back on but to remove i use air everytime.

yeah well like i said, I dont have any air tools so I'm up crap creek there... If I cant get it to bust off by hand then ill have to see if I can borrow a small portable tank & impact from someone.

Take a long extension and wedge it through the primary and wedge it into the floorboard. The primary puller is 19mm I believe. The secondary it 27mm. A 1 1/16 socket will bust it loose. You wont get it off without and impact. Do you have the secondary compressor? If not then go to the hardware store.

Get:
1. 12" piece of .5" ready rod
2. (2) .5" nuts
3. (2) .5" washers
4. 2" schedule 40 pvc endcap
5. Circlip pliars "If you dont already have them

Assembly:
1. Drill 1/2" hole in top center of the end cap
2. Cut a "U" shaped slot out of the side ***** "see note"
3. Put one washer on ready rod and thread nut on
4. Slide clutch over ready rod so the front of the clutch is facing down
5. Now the spring will be facing up.
6. Slide PVC cap over the ready rod and situate it over the spring.
7. Slide 2nd washer over rod so it is on top of the end cap.
8. Thread 2nd nut down tight over the washer and endcap.
9. Put bottom nut in a vice to hold it. Make sure the bottom nut is about an inch away from the end so that it cant come off.
10. Tighten down the top nut and hold the pvc cap in place so that is compresses the outter collar that holds the spring in place.
11. When the metal ring is compresses so that you can see the circlip, then stick the circlip pliars into the "U" shaped slot that you cut earlier.
12. Once you have the circlip off then you can slowly release the tension on the spring and it will all de-compress and you will then be able to replace the spring.

**Note**

The "U" shaped slot needs to be lined up with the gap in the circlip before you tighten it down. If not then you will not be able to take it loose.

To reassemble put your new spring back in and the spacers that are in it then the metal ring cover that holds the spring in place. Then put the clutch back over the ready rod and do everything in reverse.

A steel cap would work much better. Mine is machined now out of stainless. THe steel cap is ahrd to cut without powertools. I cut mine with a portaband. I would hate to try it with a hacksaw
