Dude, High Lifter had one of these for weeks, I think they know what they are talking about.

Uhmmmm, Take Big Ts word for it.   Lets just say that his source is alot closer to this powerplant then yours.   Right Big T!!!!!

If HL have a V twin POPO there then it is not a production machine but rather a test mule with a different powerplant.   The production 850 IS a parallel twin.

So if you are hoping on a V twin POPO this year, Nope not going to happen unless they do some mid season release of something.   And if this is true or not, my lips are sealed.

In the racing world it helps.

Scott said they have some sort of slip clutch like the Thundercats, so you don't break axles as much.

Install roller pins and no more slipping!!!!!!

ATVs and RZRs are made in Roseau, MN.  Rangers and Victory are made in Spirit Lake, IA.  The only exceptions are the pheonix and youth models.

Looks like the largest bighorn there was on the maxis website was the 26/9/14 and 26/11/14, Maxis did not have the 2.0s listed so I am not sure if they offer a 27" in that new BH or not.

I know that the 14" wheel thing sucks right now but if ATV's start coming with 14" wheels as standard equipment, then more tire manufacturers will start offering more tires and more sizes in 14's. So it will get better.

I think I found your answer about the V twin issue some of you are having.  I read that it fires every 270 degrees.   The original parallel twin, both pistons come up at same time and the firing goes #1 on one rotation then #2 on next rotation.  This gives it the stupid sound.  A Harley also goes this way which gives them their unique sound. If it is at 270 deg. then they do not come up at same time hence they may sound better and run smoother.  I hope Big-T can clarify this for you guys better.

Looks like there idea of duals this time is one big horizontal can with two down spouts. Doing something custom with this exhaust is looking like real pain in the rear.

Is that the first stock pipe with dual openings, and does that add to stock pipe power delivery, maybe negating the need for a slip on?

I just watched this vid and in the last 20 seconds you can hear the new engine as it drives by and it sounded great. Definitely no more weedeater sound. I am very impressed by what Polaris has done.

Great videos THANKs!!!!

I like how the lights will all come on at the same time now.
Now that I have seen how quick and easily that front rack pops on and off, there does seem to be a little bit of usefull storage up there. I was thinking it was all gone and would be pain to get the front rack off for service. I am really liking this thing more and more all the time.

I think AC is going to have there handsfull trying to sell Tcats in 09' at over 2 grand more money and far, far, less features and less power (I see big, big rebates in the Tcats future) . Can-am's ancesstors might even feel the puch of this machines impact on the big bore market place.

I am sold, now I just have to wait to get one, that will give me some time to figure out how to deal with the 14's.

What's worse is that it robs from AC what everyone buys them for and that's ground clearance. It now has the highest ground clearance in the industry with better handling and control than AC. If AC don't step up big in 2010 on the TCat, I can see its demise coming.

Those videos sold me. Its got more features than I've ever seen on an atv. The TCat seems now to be just an engine. This thing is an engine and luxury all in one and cheaper! This totally blows my mind! Good job Polaris and way to make me feel like an @$$ for not waiting till 2009 to buy because I knew this was gonna happen.  I'm liking this thing more than the 800R now. I don't know what to do. cc, it looks like I'm gonna need your help again buddy in deciding which one to get.

No offense, but the Tcat was never impressive for me. Ya, the 950 sounded good, but in the end it was nothing big, plus it's still a Cat(even though they have come a long way). It's just not worth $10,500. If it was comparable in price they would sell a ton of them.

I think Polaris will sell these faster than they can get them, especially here in MN. I emailed a few dealers that are advertising the 850 on their websites. One emailed back and was waiting on pricing info and delivery dates yet. I am hearing within 3-4 weeks they will be coming in.
