Is there anybody that knows where I can purchase some new orange plastics? I would even buy some used in good shape. Painting is out the door because it will never hold up to the abuse Ill put it through. I thought about getting them dipped but can't find anywheres close to my area. Any help I need some bad the Navy Blue has to go.

you can find several threads about this. They do not make them any more and the guys that have them are not letting them go. If you want orange you are gonna have to paint them. One post even said only 25 sets were made?!

that is correct. there were only 25 sets special made by kawi and per Mike Penland last week they will NOT be doing it again. i would sell you mine for 18,000 and throw in a bike with it. LOL [:D]

i dont understand there are tons of people that would like to get some i know i would, why dont they make more sets they could make a lot of money. i hope they do make more, or someone starts makeing orange plastics.

If yours is blue metalic it is painted anyway. Just prep it and make it orange.

i saw one painted that same color but it was done by a paint and body shop in tulsa and looks just like those,i was impressed. it was pretty fair priced too,i wouldnt go orange tho,i wanna see somethin new...like a cool blue i got in mind...

That copperhead orange like they had on TRUCKS forever ago would look pretty sweet. I'm gonna have to get something in mind for when my Candy Blue ones get scratched up to bad. I love to color but there's no way I'm gonna pay for new ones. Those things are higher than crack! LOL! I think a white pearl Brute would be pretty cool til you got it in the mud.

There is a guy in Poulan Ga who has a bronz brute that he painted at his body shop and it holds up very well. Even thru a crash all it did was crack the paint. It didn`t peel. It was a bright color that glows in the sun.

Painting plastic holds up better than what most people give it credit for. The quailty of the prep and the person painting it is the deciding factor on the paint hold up of it. With the advance ment of tech...bla bla blah. When i get tired of red im painting it cause i know it will hold up thru alot. So paint yor bike orange
