A pic from the airbox would be sweet.

So that box in the front is the CVT intake...did you put the 2 holes on the top or were those there? I haven't had the front plastic off.

Where did you run your CVT exhaust?

If you've got 2 holes in the front CVT box, 1 from the air intake and 1 from the CVT exhaust, that'd be 4 snorkels. I thought there were only 3?

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to get it right the first time. lol.

for the cvt vent box i sealed up the stock holes in front and ran 2 snorkles to ensure enough air gets to the carb and tranny. for the rear cvt vent hose that comes up under the rear fender behind the  batt box i just sealed it up (I know riding on long hard rides could overheat the belt but so far short rides in deep water has worked well!) i also ran all the other vent lines (carb, fuel tank, fan, rear brake) with plastic line and compression fittings to the vent box, make sure you run the carb as a seperate vent or it could run like crap.

What if for the rear vent for the CVT instead of completely plugging it off could you plug off the big hole and then put like a 1/2" vent line ran to the front with all the other vent lines. it's not like actual exhaust comes out of there, its just warm air...

Just a thought I had. Im outside now with everything taken apart trying to figure out exactly how I want to run everything. If I didn't have to run an exhaust to the front as well as the air intake it would make my life a lot easier.

So that's why I came up with the thought I just wrote above.

I have the spa hose on as my snorkel. It hasn't leaked yet, and will make your snorkel job a lottttt easier!  You wont have big bends like PVC and all you need is to cut once for one piece, instead of cutting 3 or 4 times and making numerous bends.  Also, with the less bends, your bike will run better than when you have more bends (until you jet it).

like the idea of 1/2 or maybe even 1". I seem to remember another guy running his cvt exhaust along the left side as well as the carb air hose, down along next to the skid plate. good luck and let us know how she turns out!
