Bluegrass Brute -> RE: ricochet skid plates (7/22/2008 11:53:18 PM)

They're awesome and no drillling involved! Here's a pic of them and my homemade floorboard skids.[image]http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn117/Bluegrass80/Brute%20Force%20750/DSC01356.jpg[/image]

those are SICK...nice man and thanks for the replyy....i see u got xtr's o their, do u like the outlaw mst

Bluegrass Brute -> RE: ricochet skid plates (7/23/2008 12:07:16 AM)

The MST looks like a good tire but I don't really have any experience with it. One thing I can say about the XTR's is that it seems like the 12" rim tires do better in mud than the 14" ones. My buddy has the same size tires as me but on 12" rims and he can get through stuff better than me. I guess the extra flex in the larger sidewalls help out.

Yeah you were supposed to make me a set of those! REMEMBER? It's all good though cause you didi let me in on those good riding spots.

mikee -> RE: ricochet skid plates (7/23/2008 8:08:54 AM)

Yeah the richochets are the best. I just put a set on my bike a couple months ago and they are great. No worries with them on.

1bigforeman -> RE: ricochet skid plates (7/23/2008 10:02:41 AM)

I just put mine on last week.....I should be fine if I decide to slam into a house.....[:D]

Bluegrass Brute -> RE: ricochet skid plates (7/23/2008 10:07:02 AM)

Yeah and YOU were supposed to bring me beer when you came down last time! I had to be the beer bum of the group that day and it sucked majorly.

best on earth, they hold up very well. to rocks and anything else you might in counter. I have a set on my p700 and my rear swingarm skid takes alot of abuse and never let me down. and by the looks of it you can see how rocks and stuff just bounce right off. no major damage or dings. so yeah these are some of the best skids on earth.

electricstart -> RE: ricochet skid plates (7/23/2008 1:56:03 PM)

Dave I get jealous everytime you post a pic of the places you get to ride out there. It looks awesome!

Aljoe26 -> RE: ricochet skid plates (7/24/2008 10:05:56 PM)

Seen this on ebay today, first time I had seen them. Not to much coverage, but looks like it would definately be more sturdy than stock. Looks like something like this could be fab'd up a lot cheaper, but might give ya some ideas.

I though about making some of those but what I got works just as well. They look pretty good though.
