if you go with a 27" +  I wouldnt suggest to go real wide due to power loss.

ok thats wat i was thinkin i should b able to go just a inch wider on stock wheels and be ok if i cant find the width i need

u can fit 29.5s

You can fit 29.5s as said but you won't be able to turn anything effectively bigger then skinny 27s without some mods.

As wide as you want, the general opinion that I get from everybody is that the best size tire for a stock 420 is 27x9.5 Law all the way around but with a clutch kit at least you will be fine with wides out back. Mine turns the 27x9.75s and 27x12s fine now before the clutch kit it was a bit harder.

30s, but you cant spin them w/o breaking into your motor.
