Honda gears their machines towards farmers, ranchers, oil field work etc, as well as trail riding and normal riding conditions. Coincidentally, 95% of the ATV market fits into that category. I doubt Honda will ever offer an ATV with all the features you guys want, if they only geared their ATV's to please 5% of the market rather than 95% they wouldn't be selling ATV's for very long. If you like another company's machines and features then buy that company's machines, and don't come back here complaining about Honda not offering what YOU wanted in a machine, and telling everyone that "Honda sucks" and "Honda is behind". These statments are simply false, just because they don't have 12" of GC, 70hp, and a locker doesn't mean they suck and they are behind every other company. Just remember, a company that is behind in their technology and makes ATV's that suck doesn't sell more than every other company.

i hear this over and over again from honda die hards, and you are right.  honda makes a very good machine for the trail riders and farmers.

but here is where you die hards are not getting it.  yamaha, kawasaki, can am, suzuki, arctic cat, and polaris, makes great atvs for mudders AND trail riders and farmers.  get it?

Guess what, I'm not a die hard Honda fan by any means. I WILL be buying a new ATV this fall and it WONT be a Honda. Get it? Got it? Good.

mac, i have heard you push the rincon on here time and time again to the point saying it is the greatest trail machine ever made, so much that it makes me wanna puke.  and then someone makes an argument that its only a good trail quad and cant multi task, and all of a sudden your not a die hard fan??  heck, the post you made that i originally quoted makes you sound like you work for honda for Gods sake.

i get it, i got it, and its all good

I would beg to differ on the rincon being the best trail machine.
