I'm fixing to buy 2500 lbs warn winch and i call for price at the dealer to install winch on my bike and theys said $185,00,,,i'm like WHAT??,,,are you crazy ??? lol..its already pre wireing ,,,,i have bad leg and i cant bend down to install,,,anyway,,,how hard is it to install a winch ,,Guess i have to take my times and install it my self lol....any infor would be great..Thanks Guys,,,,,,

that was probably for the mounting plate and labor both. its not that hard to install but it is a little time consuming.

bike already have the mount plate and the wire sitting there,,,the hardest thing they have to do is run the control wire to the top.........

Ohh ForGot to say this ,,they charge $92.50 hr,,,,,and they say it will take there mechanc two and half hrs to complete the job,,,wow !!  lol

the mounting plate is not there at least on to the 07

on 06 venson the winch bracket on front and the wire already there ..wire just hanging in the front of the bike ..lol

if the plate is already on it, someone put it on it. they dont come with the plate, just the wires. did you buy it new? if you did, the dealer must have put it on before u bought it.

yeah everybody right !!!!   didnt have the plate for the wich ...i got install today ,work great
