ls1 cars are about the funnest thing out nowadays... and it doesnt take much to make one FAST....

a converter, tune no cats and a muffler and my car ran 12.3s on motor and 11.4's on a 100 shot spinning on et streets... but it would back it up all day long.

">1964 Ford Fairlane.  I built the engine for it while competing in the 2002 Popular hot rodding Engine Masters Challenge, then I decided to go back through it and add some stroke to it and run it in the pump gas drags 3-4 years ago.  I sold it to buy ATVs and its the best trade Ive ever made.  I ran 9.70 through the 1/4 on drag radials, 150 HP nitrous, and 93 octane pump gas.  I also drove this car at least 6,000 miles a year.

Heres my 89 Stang I campaigned from 1998-2003 in Fun Ford Weekend and NMCA.  I used to run Street Outlaw around 8.60's around 2000, then took off the power adders and ran Street Bandit where she still layed down 9.80's, which was competitive at the time.

no offense but I think the new challenger is ugly... along with pretty much every other car dodge has ever made..... other than the viper and a few pickups.  the old muscle cars were the WORST IMO

i have a 2003 Civic LX its the same style but no sun roof and all stock. i think i wanna soend some money on it but i need it for driving back and forth to college so it can't be unrelieable. i'll never get what i want out of it unless it is unrelieable, its tough to build a decent car starting at 117 HP.

yes dodge's aren't my favorite but they have built some of the baddest street cars ever made, and the new challenger is straight sweet lookin to me.I love what the car makers have done with bringin back the past just like the mustang and the new camaro.I like the old cars alot and the challenger and cuda would have to be my favorites followed by the chevelle, camaro, and Nova.
