Major cash prizes ( for canada LOL ) Outdoor showers, wash truck, wheelie contest, many classes, power puff run, 09 Demo ride on 800R's... Beer gardens, burger cook off and 85 RV sites for free! Lemme know. I would like to have some competition there!

That sounds like a blast! We might just make it there! Ill keep in touch. Wish i had my old can-am for the wheelie contest. I could wheelie that thing across fields or down the highway at speeds over 100 k. Thats what i miss  about my can-am. The tcat definatly wheelies but not like the ol can-am. Ill try and make it there. Wish it was a weekend earlier thow. Ill let chad know as well.

Speedwerx just announced that they dyno'd the TCat (stock) at 69hp. They say that they have some more horsepower info coming soon. I wonder if this has to do with the duals or even the bbk.

I want to make mine more of a monster to. I love the tcat just wish it wasn't detuned! The poor diffs, drive shafts and axles are not gunna handle full throtal to well with another 1000 rpm or anyther 10- 20 hp.

The TCat is 30% detuned and many believe capable of 100hp. That's why I'm constantly in touch with speedwerx to confirm this possibility.

I doubt it. No bbk will work until the golden key comes out, the fuel programmer.

Not just fuel programing. All the ecm components have to work together. I know they're having a hard time to get all the engine sensors to work proberly on the can-ams with internal engine mods.

The can ams are a **** to mod because of those sensors. They're like CIA firewalls.

What ever happened to the 1400cc tcats....? I remember soem guy saying he seen them and everything. They were suppose using the 700h1 block and pistons. That must of been a load of crap. I forgot all about that until tonight.

I am not sure what speedwerx's hold up has been, I dynoed mine 8 months ago, and again 4 months ago. All they put out was the stock numbers, so either there pipes were not that big a deal or they would have said what parts they do offer were making. ????? And whats the hold up on getting these minor things done like dyno time and such.

Supposedly they are in New York keeping it secret for some reasons they say they can't say. No engine expert I've talked to says it's impossible, so who knows? Since we have not heard anyone else do it, I think it may have been a publicity stunt for the TCat, but I tend to keep my mind open.

cc1999 do you know much about the speed works clutch kit? I also heard you put 3.6s in and did not like them. I didnt think you would for your style of riding. If i kept my stockers on all the time i would keep my stock gears. For the big rubber the 3.6's are sweet!

I have only had it out once with the 3.6s and it was in some slippery grass, I was racing one of my old Outys with it, the same one that I have been comparing it with since I got it. I really didn't notice much of gain, we were both sliping a lot in the damp pasture grass, but they normal 200 foot mark where I was realing the outy in before or passing it, We were just holding steady, It may have been the terrain.

I will be at the Can-am Nats this weekend in TX, for the Drags on Sunday afternoon. Will see how it does there against some other machines. I just finished my new 840 Outy setup, I am pretty pleased with how it turned out, at least on the dyno its looking pretty strong. I don't think the cat will be any match for it, but will see on Sunday, I am taking them both with me.

My self i do think with the 3.6's that soem cltuch tuning would help alot. The clutching is set up for the higher gears. I have yet to loose a race to 300 feet with my tcat. After that the can-ams can real me in with there higher gearing. There is times where i miss pulling very hard away after 300 feet thow.

Yes the 3.6's have to be maximized by the clutching and tire size. For the long drags, I haven't figured that out.

Can-am have 3.6s, I am not sure there is much differce now, I can't real him in and he can't pass me either. Its one of my old ones, its not stock, but the cat still has it by 5 hp.

The 840 is making 30% over what it was stock off the showroom. It use to be making only 10% over with the just the pipe I had on it, same as the one we have been using in testing with the Cat.

Wow, that 840 is a beast. So I guess you're gonna get the 800R as your trail bike and have your 840 as your dragger?

Ya, something like that, will probably also use it a lot at the strip and at the dunes, its trail days will likley be very limmited, with so many cool new machines coming out I am not sure what will be my primary trail machine, the X2 was to be my technical trail/beater bike / guest machine, so it will be sticking around, it also my only 2up capable machine. The 800R and the SP850 will be entersting to see which one I decide to hang onto as my primary trail machine, I could not pic between them so I am going to try them both and get rid of one of them, that or drop the TCat and keep both the others. Will see, my next spring or summer I will likley dispose of one or two of them. My 840 machine is my Original Outy that I bought 3 years ago, still today is my all time favorite machine, so I decided to beef it up a little to justify keeping it a while longer.

Id hold on to your tcat for a year for sure. I think were gunna see big hp numbers. There ecm setup is similar to the suzuki one and vdi has cracked that one. I cant wait! With an after market ecm it will be much easier to get larger hp number from internal engine mods.

The Suki VDI took two years and still came out with a few bugs in it. I had also herd the VDI processor was maxed out taking care of the one cylinder on the suki motor that it was not ever going to be able to handle a twin. Maybe that has chnaged now, but I have not even herd of anyone trying to build one right now, TFIs yes, but ECMs thats news to me. I am all for it if someone is trying to build one.

Didn't they remove the rev limiter on the suzuki? Even if it did nothing to the timeing and just removed the limiters i would be happy!

kratos i might try that secondary clutch mod until i decided on the speed works clutch kit. I wonder if i should use position 3 or 4?

I would start off in slot 4-B. Then take it from there. I believe you're gonna love it and leave it there.
