well guys its about time to purchase a tranny. do i rebuild the one i have  or do i just buy an aftermarket one with all the stuff done to it that i need? if i buy aftermarket which company is the best and has the best customer service? gonna be running no more than 450hp but i want something that can withstand some abuse. any info will be appreciated.

i've read good things about the BTS transmissions.  built tough, and great support.  they should offer an after market converter also.  get a good 5 disc lock up converter, it beats the heck out of the stock converters!!

what so different between brians trans vs. suncoast or ats? never heard of brians tras before .

look at either suncoast transmissions or level 10 transmissions.  Both have great setups!

ats makes a good trans for sure.  I have just heard people with warranty problems and actually getting the warranty work done.  Some have said a month later, some have even said 3 months of down time.  Which to me is sad.  Something that is supposed to be of that much quality should have some awesome warranty work.  I mean come on $7,000 later and they still can't fix you up?  Not me for if you know what i mean.  JMO though.

i was checking them out was thinkin about upgrading to a stage 1 or 2 ats trans sence i am thinkin about getting my horsepower up some on my 06 6.0 i would be pushing out no more than 200 to 250hp over stock what stage trans should i be looking at ?

suncoast rock. almost bullet proof mine held up way better than an ats
