i do new construction plumbing full time for my dads plumbing company in the summer... $12.50 an hour and im only the assistant!!.. i have 6 yards that i mow on the side, which pays for my gas and my iPhone..   i just applied for a part time night job at Bass Pro Shops which pays $8/hr.. AND its in the hunting section!.. with hunting season coming up, that BassPro Employee discount is going to come in handy!

Well dang, with all them jobs you ain't gonna need to worry about huntin' season.

I'm a Technician(operator) for G.E.Plastics, now Sabic. We're a self directed work force(no supervisors/foremen), they pay is great, as are the benefits, it's shift work, but 10% NSB & 1.5 on weekends. That makes it alot easier to miss out on a bunch of weekend rides!  We work the Dupont schedule, which is great. 7 day break every 28 days. Usually as much OT as I want(my teammates don't like to work alot). All this, & did I mention the pay is great too?  LOL!           Brandon

I'm 18 and currently work in a shop making $8.50 (wooo!) an hour servicing cars and other mechanic stuff. I love messing with cars as a hobby, but not as a job! It's a good learning experience though.

I also custom tune 99+ GM vehicles for performance and gas mileage on the side, $250 for 30 minutes of "work". I'd love to do this full time!

I'm finally moving to the city next year where I can go to college and hopefully become Cisco certified (CCNA), then I hope to pursue a career as a network administrator! Any network admins have any advice?

I'm a contractor in the communications industry. I work mostly on CATV systems, but I do phone work sometimes. I do it all from building arial plant to noise suppression. I just got into fiber optic spicing last year and I'm really enjoying that. The money is outstanding but the overhead is awfull. The cost of staying up with technology is getting rediculous, but I guess it takes money to make money.

I take it you've heard that song by Garth Brooks, "It pays big money" huh!? LOL! That's great, I have no problem with heights. When I worked on drilling rigs, I'd get in a riding belt on the outside of the derricks, & clean!  I give you that because you're closer to them than most! LOL! Good luck & be careful        Brandon
