scroughorn -> cold collard??? (7/13/2008 10:07:33 PM)

My eiger takes forever to warm up.  Every time I start it I have to use the choke and leave it on for at least 5 minutes for it to warm up regardless of the outside temp. It runs perfect once warm but was wandering if everyones EIGER is like this..Is their anything that can be done about this????

Two of my good friends have eigers and the are quite cold blooded in warmer weather but you really notice in the fall, has it always been like this?? or is
getting worse??

You need to pop the cover off of the mixture screw and turn the screw out a little to richen your pilot circuit.

Take a 1/8" drill bit and lightly drill through it not letting the bit penetrate too far past the cover. Then just take a small screwdriver and pry it out.

I dont know of any places down there. I usually just ride around the house or at the camp. I dont do much riding at all anymore.[&o]

Sorry to hear you dont get riding much, i'm stationed in Virginia so i go to Busco beach about once a month or so, if you ever get the chance try to make a trip there. I promise you will not be disappointed!
