Dear Fellow 4-wheeler Enthusiasts: There are times when we must come together as a 4wheeling family/community to help out a fellow rider. One of those times has come. As most of you know, Justin (jwmullins79) broke his ankle last saturday and had surgery thursday. Justin started a new job and his insurance has not yet kicked in. Lindsey was laid off 3 weeks ago and has not been able to find a job. They are looking at medical bills totalling up to $5000 (ER visit/fee, 3 doctors visits, 2 sets of xrays, surgery, and surgeon fee). I am asking you, fellow riders, to help out one of our own during a time of need. An account has been opened at Keesler Federal Credit Union in Gulfport, MS for people to donate money to help pay for Justin's medical bills. Hey BrootGoot, I was gonna take time to do this as soon as I stop long enough to do so! I've mentioned it to a few of the guys from our group/gang! I know they're more than willing to help out! BrootGoot wonderful idea pm sent to ya this is another one of the reasons i posted what i did under wife in hospital... i have been alot of places and met a lot of peoples and for people that only know you thru words to be so open minded and caring is a very heart warming i know it sounds funny but it is true all ya guys and gals are so caring... i am so glad i joined here and have a part in this family thanks guys[;)] come on guys lets help this fellow family member out[sm=grd.gif][sm=thankyou2.gif]

Well I just got more bad news. After I begged and begged the doc to allow me to go back to work, I got a phone call today from my supervisor sayin I can't come back untill I'm 100% fit for full duty. The company I work for does not have a "Light Duty" and they said I'm too much of a liability to the company to come back untill I'm fit for full duty. Doc has already told me I'm not goin to be fit for full duty for quite some time. After I get out of this soft cast, and into a hard cast I'll be in it for at least 6-8 weeks. After removin the cast I'm going to have to go threw rehab to strengthen the ankle before he will clear me for full duty. So I'm goin into town tomorrow morning looking for new employment. Will let everyone know any updates as I get them. Thanks again to everyone who has/plans to contribute.

Donation sent through PayPal. Lets help these two out. Its tough to have to go through something like this and can't get disability or anything, when there are people out on disability that does not need to be.

don't worry about repaying. I see on the front page where the most users online at one time was close to 15000. If everyone on this forum donated $1 it would make a tremendous difference and cover all expenses. Remember that he can't work and both are currently looking for jobs to cover bills and living expenses. A candy bar costs over a dollar now, so refrain from buying it, and donate $1 or more. Its better for ya heart anyway.

Though I have never me this young man in my life, and I may never meet him, I still feel that Justin may be in the roughes part of his life right about now. There are so many people that just sit on a corner and collect more money than we can imagin and go get drunk and make our town look trashy. Justin is just trying to pay medical bills and make ends meet since he is unable to return to work. I don't want to be repaid, I just want everyone to give from the heart for this young man. Everyone please remember you will always go through some rough times and it looks like justin is there. No, you wont get something you can put in your hands for this donation, but you can make a HUGE impression on some lives, and God is always watching. God Bless you all. Hope you get better and everthing turns out ok. Maybe I will see you at Red Creek one day. Thank Yall for yalls time. Tim

You are right, that this is one of the toughest times in my life, have been threw this "financial" situation before. But it was self induced, and I only had me to worry about. I have since straightened my life out, with the help of many people to point me in the right direction. If we are able to get out of this situation, I assure you we'll meet at Red Creek one day, and we'll ride the day.

I will donate Thursday (payday), for those of you that may have followed the thread in High Lifter Mud Nationals section, there was enough money donated to replace a 11 year olds stolen 4-wheeler, surely we can donate enough to help pay a fellow member's doctor bills during hard times.
