Most dealers do not have the tools to press these bearings in or out of the TTI arms. I drive about 100 miles to get my bearings pressed in and I have a major dealership 2 miles from my house.

Thanks John. I guess that's one more unforseen hickup in the X shock Saga... Eh :) I want to ride soooo bad too, lol..

UPDATE:

Bike got back from the stealer today. Total damage is a little over 650$ CND (tax included -- we have alot of that here), 450$ or so in parts and 3 hours labor. I will finish installing the rear shocks tonite after work and then I'll take it for a spin to see how everything works out. I'll take some pictures and post 'em here :)

The rear shock reservoir bracket attaches using the front tie down bracket bolts. The reservoir then just clamps on to it with hose clamps. Probably will be easier to access the 2 hold down bolts for the install with the rear storage box out of the way. 2 bolts and it's out. Makes for easy battery access too should you ever need that in the future.

Thanks topgun,

I finished the install tonite and everything went smooth. It's raining right now but if it stops, I'm taking it for a night spin to test it out :) I'll post some pictures tomorrow!

Took it for a late night spin and wow, the smaller tires and the K&N really gave it back it's stock power. I'm enjoying the bike big time. Wife said "Already back?!" when I got home... The 3 hour ride I usually do took 1h15 :)
