kawimudder -> bruteforce 750 questions (7/8/2008 7:15:16 PM)

I am going to purchase a brute force 750 and a 7in HL lift and either 32 sliverbacks or 31 laws and u know snorkels, relocate radiator and u know the works but i have two questions.

How are the 32 sliverbacks? are they diggers or what?

And when i get my brute i am going to straight pipe it one pipe per cylinder back into 2 12in chrome truck exhaust tips with some welding and i was wanting to know has anybody straightpiped a brute in any way and how did it sound and do you have any vids of it.

thanks

This fourum is not allowed to discuss about the 32'' tires you just mentioned. Since you have all that money to buy everything mentioned above, why don't you go buy both tires and see for your self.  I would get the laws. If you straitpipe a brute, not to be mean, but it would be annoying loud. Just by your self and HMF, they are pretty loud with those.

Welcome to the fourum.

with straights it would be a pain to tune.

You will melt a piston without any backpressure.  The 32's are HEAVY and ride rough.  I would say try the 30's or the 31's laws.  And please just buy a HMF or do the exhaust mod.

Laws all the way for tires. I ran a snorkeled straight pipe on my brute for about 45 minutes before putting the stock exhaust back on and snorkaling it. It is so loud it isn't any fun to ride. Loud enough I wouldn't ride with someone who had straight pipes. The twins are rediculously loud. Get the HMF utility pipe and be done with it.

kawimudder -> RE: bruteforce 750 questions (7/9/2008 2:07:53 PM)

Yeah I was going to get the 31 laws anyways since they paddle over the top of the mud. I was just wondering about the "other" tires[;)][:D][sm=598.gif]

So i will melt a piston if i straghtpipe it? How?

bruterookie -> RE: bruteforce 750 questions (7/9/2008 6:23:43 PM)

With out the back pressure to "pull " the exhaust gases out of the cylinder properly the chamber will become to hot for the piston an burn a hole through it. This is caused by the the exhaust gases heating the incomming air and fuel mixture from the next intake and compression strokes,overheating the cylinder chamber. JMO of course.

kawimudder -> RE: bruteforce 750 questions (7/9/2008 8:59:13 PM)

O ok yeah I dont want to burn up my motor! and I do want dual exhaust so Ill just do one pipe per cylinder like i said but put 2 muzzys at the end i guess[sm=1022.gif]. That will be cool! When I start this and finish it Ill put some vids on You-Tube to let yall know how it turns out[:D]

kawimudder -> RE: bruteforce 750 questions (7/9/2008 9:27:29 PM)

Or Hmf's I dont really know Ill just have to see how Ill be on money when I get to it[sm=598.gif]
The Muzzys are pretty $$$

Dont spend to much money on your new brute cause i'm sure you will need extra money to fix it when it break's....lol       Good Luck on your new Brute !!
