Well I will be there but the Rhino Trans took a dump on me..
Not sure what it is going to cost since the case will have to be split to see what all the damage is..Upwards of 3600 dollars most likely....

Wow...Ouch!  Was it the "middle drive gear" that let go?  Break the cases?  That seems real expensive to split cases and replace 1-2 gears and possibly a few bearings...even if the cases let go!  We just did one a few days ago...Time consuming but pretty easy...

Engie I am not for sure if the cases were messed up yet.It is the middle drive gear for sure though.no oil leaking out so I am hoping the cases are alright.
I have never split the cases on a bike before so it will have to be done by the dealer.
Cost will be depending on vwhat all is busted on the inside.

slitting the cases is really no big deal when i slit mine everything stayed in place, not a whole lot of gears in there but low, high, and a reverse gear, but you will need a flywheel puller, dealers probally charging you 6-9 hours @65.00 or better

I believe you should be "ok" without pulling the flywheel.  I think the cases actually split completely from the right side.  You actually don't even have to pull the left casecover if I remember correctly.  Just one of those things you do by the manual the first time and learn all the shortcuts as you go...

It's looking like I will be on my(stock) Polaris.  I'm ok with not racing(I think).  I've got quite a lot of time vested in a few bikes that I expect to do really well in the competition.  I'll be almost as excited from the sidelines...

So, I guess I'm the only one who you don't have time vested in??? haha Malcom said he will help me put the 3.6s in.  If so, why don't you help me too, a case of cold poppers and a couple hours later... Voila! I'm back rippin.

Just let me know Turner...There are a number of tricks to getting the diffs out/in the frame that will be a pain the first time you do it.  Once you've done it as many times as I have, it gets real easy...

Sounds good.  Rumor has it there is somebody in our area/group that may be racing a popo that weekend????   But it's not Kevin... So my next guess would be you got something up YOUR sleeve.
