Pstroker is still around, I haven't talked to him in the last couple of months but i'm pretty sure he still has his bike. I think he is in the process of building a tractor truck, that is why he probably has not been on here.

Has any one been out there recently to see how wet it is, cause the last time i was there most of it was pretty dry (three weeks ago) But, I was up in Holopaw last weekend and it was fairly wet.

Just wondering.

Are they open all the time? Or do they have "events" like lcross.

They are open all the time, even during the week. You can only camp on the weekends though.

Hopefully I'll be out there Thurs. afternoon(Hopefully all my parts will be in by then) to find a spot under shade in the camp ground cause I'm tenting it!!

I'm looking forward to this, gonna be a blast!!

Last time I was out there, they had a band playing.

1 big thing for me that makes mission mud better than mudfest, is you can ride all around at plant bamboo at night, but once the sun goes down at mudfest, the holes are shut down, and everyone is restricted to the camps. I love a booze cruze night ride!!

I LOVE night riding.  That is awesome they are open all the time! I'm going to try to frequent bamboo after this event.  I lost holey lands as a riding spot...so I'm kinda between a rock and a hard place, owning a mud bike with no where to ride locally.

It's done for now (meaning its dug out to the size we want it)....we will make some last minute "adjustments" (add some muck, pump more water, pump out water, etc. as needed) based on conditions right before the event.  We want to make it a tough run, but still runable by most.

We figured some folks would be "trying it out" before the event, so we didn't bother to really finalize it, this way folks can enjoy it for now and we can still get it just right prior to the competitions.  It's tough to tell whether it will be deep or not, as the property (just like anyother in our area) is really all over the place right now depending on how much rain falls (or not) a day or 2 before.  We have seen it go from very wet to fairly dry over the past few weeks.  In either case, have at it knowing that it will be "managed" just before the event.  At the very least you can get a sense for the size of it.

Yes, currently we are planning to block it off Friday evening/night so we can make any final modifications to it and not open it back up until after the competitions on Saturday (they should be done in the early afternoon).  While we want folks to have fun and be able to try it out prior to the competitions, we don't want to have folks running it perpendicularly (not sure if that's a word, but you know what I mean) and messing it up.  I figure we'll play it by ear.  If we see it becoming a problem, we'll rope it off earlier....as long as people are running it parallel, we should be able to leave it open most of the time.
