Sorry for continuing to post everything multiple times, but I want to make sure I get the word out....I posted this in the other threads as well:

Hey, its on our website, but if anyone knows Vendors who would be interested in a spot on Vendor row, please have them contact us.  Just trying to make sure we have enough food and refreshment options on site.  Any other ATV related vendors are also welcome of course.  I would guess that whoever was planning on vending at Mudfest may want to reconsider for 2 reasons:

1) There aren't going to be nearly as many people there as in the past.
2) The people that do attend are less likely to want to spend any additional money at the event since they already paid so much to get in.

Thanks again for your continued support

They are big...similar to C&R in size I would say.  I'm going there tomorrow to check in on progress, so I'll snap some pics and maybe even shoot some video.

Hey Guys, I'll be out there for mission MUD!!
I've been going out to the Underhills for a while now. It will be interesting to see all the great changes underway out there you guys are doing. Ed is a crazy ol man, (in a good way) and I like his establishment out there. Always a blast!

The ol' popo isn't as big and bad as some of you guys bikes, but hopefully she will hold her own.lol

is the campsite still in the back corner of the property BlackBear? He used to have it about midway on the property, then he moved it to the back corner in a hammock, where I liked it better..

Thinking about bringing a camper out there, i want to camp, but its so HOT this time of year.

Sux not being able to bring dogs now though, my dog loves the mud out there, and the swimming hole.

I see you have the classes broke down to 500 below and 501 and up?????  i will run with the big bikes.....they will spank me but if it is nessesary, just for fun, are you having a womens class?

wish we could talk you into breaking it down 3 ways  gives us smaller bikes a chance instead of running against the 800s  just a thought.

I agree. That is only fair to bikes that are in the middle. Why have a 500 foreman running against a 750 brute. Its just not a fair race.

Ok, so I'll admit we are rookies at this .  At the end of the day, this event is for all of us to enjoy, so your input is valuable and we're hear to listen.  Tell me how this sounds for both the Mud Bog and QuadCross, the "Biggest Bike" prize will still be $100 + ATVS GONE WILD T-Shirt + Video Spot:

Men's Classes
499 and under -> Prize: $20 + ATVS GONE WILD T-Shirt + Video Spot
500 - 699 -> Prize: $30 + ATVS GONE WILD T-Shirt + Video Spot
700 and up -> Prize: $50 + ATVS GONE WILD T-Shirt + Video Spot

Women's Classes
499 and under -> Prize: $20 + East Coast Dirty Girls T-Shirt + Video Spot
500 - 699 -> Prize: $30 + East Coast Dirty Girls T-Shirt + Video Spot
700 and up -> Prize: $50 + East Coast Dirty Girls T-Shirt + Video Spot

This way, the total payout stays at $500   Let me know what ya'll think.  I'd like to get this finalized so I can update all the information and get some flyers I've been working on out.

Also need to know what fee's are gonna be to race. I agree with dirty dee on the prize money also cause I dont think people with a good bit of money in there bikes are gonna risk tearing it up for $50. That is only my opinion. It is ya'lls event and we are just trying to help you make it as good and fair as possible.

Ok, so now I see where the confusion is, so let me clear all this up.  Originally, we came up with the idea to have a mud bog and quadcross competition just for fun to be unique amongst the other events in the area.  We had planned to fund the prizes/payouts out of our own pockets and have no entry fee.  I should also mention that we (ATVSGONEWILD is not profiting whatsoever from this event....all profits go to the landowner so he can cover his costs (i.e. insurance, prep. work, etc. and hopefully make some kind of profit so we can have future events)) we're just putting it on to give folks an alternative to Okeechobee Mudfest because we were just as outraged as everyone else when we heard about their new fees, and to shoot some great film for our soon to be released videos.  This was the reason for the low payouts.

Based on the feedback and interest we have received from folks who are serious about competing, if everyone is up for it, let's do this the right way and ask for some entry fees and increase the payouts.  So let's do this:

Men's Classes
499 and under
500 - 699
700 and up (2 inch lift or less)
Open (Run what you Brung)
RUVs (all size engines)

Women's Classes
499 and under
500 - 699
Open (700+ Run what you Brung)

Prizes in each class for both Mud Bog and QuadCross:
1st -> 40% payout + ATVS GONE WILD T-Shirt (men's classes) or East Coast Dirty Girls T-Shirt (women's classes) + Video Spot
2nd -> 30% payout
3rd -> 20% payout

We will payout $100 (along with ATVS GONE WILD T-Shirt and Video Spot)for the biggest bike (we will use the 10% left over from the entry fees from the other events to cover this and if there's anything left over we will use it to cover our expenses to put the event on)....no entry fee for this one, we'll just make our selection at the very end of the events, so we'll just ask folks to step up if they think their bike is the biggest.

Let me know what you all think, and I need your input/ideas on what the entry fees should be.

Thanks again for all the great ideas and advice...we really want to make this an event to remember and one folks will come back to

That sounds great. Entry fees at the **** event were $10 per event. I think that is fair and should not be too much for anybody that is wanting to compete.
