Ok, lets plan on saturday.. Haven't been to hectors in about a month.. Whos in for meeting there and then heading to crosby. I can't wait to test out the new bike.. Gonna take it easy till i get the 30s on, but still gonna have a blast.

Rene, Hectors is a mexican restuarant located next to the Krogers there at 2100 and 90. We have met there a few times for breakfast before riding, or we head there for dinner as we leave.. Good food and cheap.

Well I may make it. Going to just have to put the wifes radiator back down under until I can get all the hose and fittings needed. What time is everyone planning on going tomorrow. ya, tweaking... We rode from almost 1pm yesterday till 1am.. actually I think we did. Bike did great till the 10 mile hard pack ride back. Belt blew. I was also riding in high with 32s.. not bright, but i was just getting a feel for things. went and bought a new belt at gander today, and then headed back to the house.. Everyone would be proud of me, i put a floor on the trailer today. I was on a roll. Well, i did really know what to do so i started myself since chris and alan werent reachable.. As i opened the belt housing, there was remains from about 2 different belts in there. And the idiot that snorkeled it before i got it, ran the hosing for the exhaust so far down into the belt housing that it was against the secondary clutch and so it was melted. ( not allowing for much exhaust either) After cleaning that up, i removed the primary and the one way bearing came out with it, and when it pulled off, popped two small springs and caps off someone in my storage. I found one spring and the two caps, but i am one spring short. So, i called Alan and headed home.

As far as the bike.. well, it needs 30s, but had no problems turning 32s. Its a beast and wow, the power. Put a huge dent in the radiator from doing a wheelie out of a hole and slamming my head and radiator into a tree branch.. It doesn't leak, and ya, im still an idiot, so i am not going to mess with it. But i don't regret my can am purchase one bit. Just needs a little, DONE RIGHT, and i will be ready.. Im gonna try to find the spring tomorrow morning and see what happens.. But i was already tired from last night and my patience wasn't there to look tonight..

Let me be the first to say, that was a great time yesterday. I have never thrown mud rooster tails like when we were tearing it up on the pipeline.

I went to unload the bike and it fired right up. Pulled it into the garage and it quit, refused to start. So I will be removing and cleaning the carb sometime. Oh yeah and checking the sparkplug. I also will go back to the 140 jet. With the 138, it felt like I was a gear high when I was in a mudhole, that's why I kept down shifting into neutral.
