14 weeks?!   Sounds to me like someone has pushed you off to do other jobs that arent warranty related.  All dealers hate warranty work, claim they dont make any money.  Which they dont if Polaris says its a 8 hr job and hes already taken 20 AND hes not even finished yet.  Guess who would pay that 20 hrs of labor if it wasnt warranty?  I would be on the phone with polaris, wanting my warranty to be extended at least 14 wks.   If you re making payments on that, thats almost 4 payments with no use.

Well was gonna cut the vacation short a day to come home and pick it up if it was ready.  I called yesterday morning from 200 miles away where I was vacationing and guess what they haven't touched it since last week.  Said they are still waiting on the appraiser.  I called Polaris customer service and they told me that there was nothing they could do for me and that I needed to get the phone no of the local adjuster and call him myself.  Or I could pick up my RZR from them and take it to another Polaris dealer and then have them turn it into an adjuster.  I flipped a lid when I heard all this and told them that this was the poorest excuse Ive ever heard and few other words as well.

I called the dealer back and they said that they had just hung up from talking to the adjuster (but would not give me his no. or his name) and that he promised them he would be by yesterday evening and that they would call me and tell what he said.  Needless to say I never got the call.  Now it looks like its time for my lawyer.  Ive had enough.

Sounds like Popo needs to take care of their customers better that,(call the adjuster yourself).  Thats just plain sorry.  The dealer sounds like a he was loosing money and wanted a way out.
I had a problem with a Yamaha dealer couple months ago on a rear seal leaking.  Took it to them 2 times prior and they said they replaced both seals and refilled the rear unit.  Well. after my warrenty had expired for a couple weeks, I saw oil leaking form the same side as before.  I was way pissed.  I grabed the axle and it moved inside the rearend...wow.  Took it back to them for the 3rd time for same problem and they kept it for almost a month.  I called back and they told me they were waiting on Yamaha to approve the warrenty work.  I called Yamaha customer service and while we were on the ph. she (Yamaha)called the dealer and ****ed them out about how long it had took.  Within 1 minute of us hanging up, the dealer head mech. called me and wondered why I had called Yamaha and they had **** him out..lol.   I said well, why do you think?  Needless to say I had my rhino back with a new rear in it then and no more problems.

So I can truly say Yamaha treated me right....

Finally heard from the dealer today that the adjuster had came by and Polaris approved the warranty work.  But was told by the dealer it would cost me a $50.00 deductible + another $250.00 - $300.00 for things that were not covered by warranty.  I said what things, he said,  we had to swap you're 30" Mzilla's out w/the stock tires so that Polaris would authorize the warranty and theres a front axle or something "well the parts manager is on vacation this week and I don't know exactly what they are not covering".  He also said that they (Polaris) had only authorized a rebuild not a transmission swap out and that they had to order all the parts and then they had to put it back together.  I said, how long are talking he said at least another 2 weeks (3-5 working days to get the parts in then another 3-5 days to put it back together).  I said just call me when its ready.

If he had taken it in with the stock tires, they would have found some reason to charge for something. The stealerships sell bikes everyday with lifts and oversized tires, but they want to give you flack when you bring them in with problems. Stealerships, whether it be trucks or ATVs/UTVs, will ALWAYS try to find a way out of covering warranty. My brother took his Titan in for warranty work, and Nissan didn't cover it because they said it was used offroad. WELL, it's a 4x4 with the OFFROAD package!! He hasn't done near what they do in the commercials, but they wouldn't cover his warranty work. That is CRAZY!! I hate taking anything to the stealerships.

There is a difference between them seeing it with 30's and the Polaris Adjuster seeing it like that. The dealer does not care because they made money off of the tires, Polaris did not. They are the ones that have to pay to fix it.Not the dealer.

Your lucky cause an adjuster voided my warrenty work for having 29.5 Swamp lites on it.  Just cause the dealership installed it doesnt mean that the adjuster will pass off on it.  He probably only approved it cause it has been soo long.  Now dont get me wrong, I would be extreamly pissed if it were in the shop for 14 weeks.  My polaris dealer is awesome!!!  PERKINS in PASCAGULA MS!!!

If you have not taken this to writing with both Polaris and the dealership yet, I believe you are asking to be shoved around.

If he's charging you to put stock tires back on (16 bolts woowoo) while he's already got it jacked up to pull a tranny, he's a thief.

If he needs 20 hours to pull a tranny, he's an idiot.

Sounds like you don't need an attorney, you need some balls to deal with him.

I just turn my wife loose on people like this and then I sit back and enjoy the show.  I could deal with them myself, but it's much more fun to let her do it.  Besides, she enjoys it so much.  As you know, If Mama ain't Happy then Nobody's Happy.........LOL

Well, its now been 17+ weeks.  I stopped by today and they said that they were still waiting on some parts, but they have shipped and were supposed to arive today or tomorrow.  My Lawyer has been all over this and we're going to take legal action, that's about all I can say at this time.  Anyways I told them to just get it running and I'll finish putting it back together.  They agreed to that and said they should have it ready to be picked up on Friday, yea I'll believe it when I see her.  WOW only 6 more days and it will be there 4 months.  Here's a pic of her, at least I can see it this way.

Well, first of all, dont blame Polaris for the dealers faults.  Polaris tries to let the dealer and the customer work out their problems before they step in.  I bet they called and asked what the situation was with the dealer, and logged it just in case they did need to step in.  I have never, ill say it again, NEVER had an adjuster take more than 24 hrs to come look at a claim.  You have been bold face lied to.  Is this Polaris factory waranty or Polaristar Pro Plus Warranty?  Polaris never sends an adjuster, but Polaristar will.  If a appraisor is not available within 24 hrs, they will approve the claim.  Run-around is what your getting.  I know their are sometimes issues with parts delays, but Polaris will usually pull parts off the asm line if they have too, its called a Vehicle Down Order, which is used for newer units when parts are not available via the warehouse.  If you want to bring it to Georgia, ill fix it for you.  I recommend finding another dealer.  I also recommend taking it in for repairs with the factory tires or at least the same size as factory.  I think one size bigger is o.k. but thats it.   Call polaris, ask them if they will find another dealer who will agree to finish the work on your RZR.  They might do that for you. If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call.  You can find my number on my website.
Jay
