Okay, Okay, you got me. If I already knew what I was talking about. Why would I ask you? I am still 15, I dont have the slightest clue how to work on a truck...I can work on a four wheeler. And for the spoiled part, If you would read the big black book...the end is pretty soon bud...why not spend my money while I am here? Whats the point of money if you cant spend it? There isnt a point.

So in all honesty...you are right...your words are exactly right.

kawaboy13  -  Thanks...I am going to look at some of the tires and rims, I really have not made up my mind.

TomBFL  -  There isnt going to be much off roading...besides a little in the Okeechobee Mudfest of 09.  So I am not really worried about sidewall. But I have decided aginst the 20" rims after seeing the price of them.

So you want to run some big tires with a lift and have a winch to get over speed bumps at the mall? Kinda a big over kill.

Son when i was 15 i was hustlin just to put gas in the tank. No one nowadays knows what a job is. The young generation is gonna follow us sooooo good.

Dude, our parents want us more worried about education than getting out to get a job. They want us to grow up and be able to make money so they help us while we're young.

Welcome to the Dakota club they are awesome trucks I've had 4 of them now. As a lifted Dakota owner I can assure you the Rancho suspension lift is VERY nice. If you are looking in the area of 3in of lift you cant fit ANYTHING bigger then 33 and they will fit only with the right offset wheels. Take a look at my myspace profile Ive got several pics of my trucks on there. If you got any specific questions PM me and I'll give you all the help you will need to get your Dak in the air a little bit.

Swamper radials pretty much suck and DAM they are expensive! Dunlop Mud Rovers do just as good in the mud, and are a **** of a lot quieter for far less money. Also KMC/XD doesn't make wheels to fit Dakotas.

I had a 4x4 Dakota years ago and the only other car that has the same wheel bolt pattern is the Dodge Viper. At least that was the case then, maybe that's changed. Mine was the old '93 body style and they weren't nearly as popular then so there were very few aftermarket wheels to choose from. I know that has changed now.

Dodge Vipers have the same bolt pattern as well as the newer Nissan Frontier and Xterras. It is 6x4.5.

Its actually been a good thing for Dakota owners that Nissan started using the bolt pattern too. Its opened up even more choices for wheels, where even 3yrs ago there were hardly any at all.

Yea I can tell, but I was just taking up for the guy who made this post because of some people not to mention any names(greenswampredneck) lol, was getting all "huffy" because his childhood sucked and his parents never let him have anything. I mean it's good to know you pay for it on your own, but the generation is way different now if you haven't noticed. I wish we could still pay 30 cents a gallon for gas like some of you used too. I know wages were lower, but it was still more affordable.

if you aint takin the truck offroad but once a year dont get swampers unless you just have money to burn. get some bfg mt's or toyo's, they will last you a long time, look good, and do pretty good in the mud. or buy you a set of all terrains and a set of swampers on different rims and swap them out like i do. and you have plenty of extra time for a job. unless you go to school 24/7 365 days a year. your parents just arent going to keep giving you money until your out of college. plus its nice having your own money and be able to do whatever the **** you want with it.
