Hmmm....not sure what to do with the ATVS GONE WILD crew now. I said we would be at Mudfest (and postpone Mission Mud at Plant Bamboo for a few weeks) if it came back, but I didn't expect the steep hike in price. I have the feeling that there are going to be alot of people that just go for the day (probably Saturday) instead of the weekend now.....I'm worried that this will hurt attendance at Mission Mud.

On the other hand, if there are enough people that are "out" at that price, then maybe there is even a better reason to host Mission Mud.

BlackBear let us know what you decide. It's a good time at mudfest, but not worth a 100.00 imo. Like someone already said i will just go to bamboo if you have it, or even out to holopaw thats free. But it's fun to hook up with everyone at a big event.

ok its looking good.i went to bamboo fest today and went over a few things with ryan on the holes being built. blackbear you need to make yourself available next saturday so we can go back and figure out a few other things.we are going to have the mission mud event those who want to have a great and safe weekend will come and injoy it with us.and now theres also going to be a trail ride for those who want to trail ride. theres more mud there now than ive seen in the past few years.and plenty of parking and camping spots showers and ive also arranged for a p[ressure cleaner to be there for anyone wearing an atvsgonewild tee shirt.witch you can get via our site atvsgonewildonline.com sing on and we will let you know how to get a shirt.

get the lead out of it and do it this week. if you have it I will bring people. I perfer a mudda cross hole or swamp cross hole which is a circle racxe track like 18 inches to 3 foot deep.

The rack deep crew will be at plant bamboo sounds like it could be a real good time ,we've been out there quite a few times before and always had a good time. there's a lot of deeeeeep water and some mud.

OMG......are you serious it is $100.00/person???? i need to check that out. I was upset they raised it to $50.00/person on their last flyer and now it is double.......hmmmmm. If that is true...yall have fun.

I jsut spent 4 days of trail riding, mud pits, mudd cross, deep holes, HOT showers, great people and it was only $45.00.

Hate to miss out on one of the only events we have in FLorida....but looks like i will!

Awesome guys....glad to hear ya'll will be in attendance. Its going to be a blast. I think we've done a good job getting everything designed and setup for a great event, but I'll be looking for feedback/comments after the event so we can take notes and improve for future events

Hey everyone, just a few updates:

Spoke with Edward Underhill (owner of plant bamboo property) yesterday, and it looks like daily admission will be $20 instead of the $15 I earlier stated. I think he was having some kind of temporary amnesia

because he doesn't remember ever telling me it would be $15 for that day and said it has been $20 all along. Sorry for the confusion but I wanted to let everyone know so there wouldn't be any surprises at the gate. Admission for the "weekend" (which starts at noon on Thurs. Aug. 7th and ends at 7pm on Sun. Aug. 10th) is still only $30

The competition schedule will be posted on our site (www.atvsgonewildonline.com) shortly, but I can tell you that they will all take place in the middle of the day on Saturday (probably starting around 11am or so and registration/sign-up will start about 2 hours before that and run until a few minutes before the events begin). Just wanted to give the heads-up so those who plan to compete can be there in time for the events.

So i talked to the guy that puts this thing on yesterday and he said that last years insurance was 18K. The policy that he has approved so far was for 226K. He said that he has two more insurance companies that he is waiting to hear back from. He will know by friday if it is going to be chaper. He also said that the $100 weekend pass was just talked about, nothing was ever set in stone. He also said that they are probably not going to hold the event if he can't get cheaper ins. I am down for MISSION: Mud, unless the get the price to 50 or lower.

I'm not sure I buy the "just talked about" regarding the $100....its been posted on their site and their MySpace page for about a week now (its there right now)...seems to me you wouldn't post that kind of information if it wasn't concrete. I would also doubt that they are going to get insurance for anyting near what they paid before.....so admission prices are bound to stay high.

At this point who cares....MISSION: MUD is the place to be Aug. 7th - 10th
