Outlaw 550 -> Yamaha Sneak Peak (5/28/2008 11:05:02 AM)

That’s right, Yamaha Motor Corp has rented the High Lifter Off Road Park in Shreveport LA for Saturday June 14, 08, to introduce a new utility ATV.  Yamaha will show off (that includes demo rides) this new ATV at the High Lifter Off Road Park where dealers and riders have plenty of room to try out this new unit as well as other Yamaha ATVs.  If you live around the Shreveport area and would like to be in on this sneak peak, before everyone else, come see it and visit the park and the Yamaha guys on that day.  See the attached link for directions to the park.

http://www.highlifter.com/park/about.aspx

Please note the PARK is NOT OPEN at this time.  Yamaha asks that riders LEAVE their own ATVs at home for this event (even if you have a Yamaha).  High Lifter has some details to finish on the park and it will open soon.

The event is scheduled for 10am-4pm  Sat 6/14/08.  If you have a helmet, gloves, goggles and a long sleeve jersey bring them.  If you don’t have those, there will some available for you to borrow.

I remember when yamaha released the revamped 07 Big Bear 400 with locker, IRS, and mudlites, they rented the Dirty Dog ATV Park in Phoenix City , AL...which is a mud oriented park for a more mud oriented big bear...hmmm wander what yamaha has up its sleeves this year at another mud oriented park

kodiak660 -> RE: Yamaha Sneak Peak (6/5/2008 1:09:23 AM)

The A in the model number means its an automatic

YFM550FWA

dbmachine -> RE: Yamaha Sneak Peak (6/5/2008 1:11:40 AM)

last year the only changes yamaha had to the utility atvs was offer the 700 with the EPS option..also had some special edition color changes..nothing major...hoping for something break through this year..also hopeing for some type of sporty smaller rhino

kodiak660 -> RE: Yamaha Sneak Peak (6/5/2008 1:23:31 AM)

So far looking at the C.A.R.B  site Yamaha is going to keep the 450 Grizzly and the 400 Big Bear for 09.

The only new model listed so far is the 550 Grizzly.

We will all know soon enough. [:D]

dbmachine -> RE: Yamaha Sneak Peak (6/5/2008 2:11:06 AM)

the yamaha canada website is showing about 22 hours from now until the new models will be shown,,,the american yamaha website is about 34 hours away from now..so looks like we need the check the canadian site first

Very true! I do like BF750's. But I forgot to mention how much I like the Ultramatic tranny of a Yamaha.
