The problem I found was that most aftermarket bags and hard boxes were only about 34" wide and the brute rack is about 42" wide. I'm pretty picky when it comes to stuff looking like it was made for something so I just got the Kaw bag. They make a hard box but it's 12" tall and to me that's way to tall. The one I got is about 7" tall so it's not to bad.

I guess I could cause it's all got a hard thick foam lining in it. Don't get me thinking like that! LOL! I'll have to buy another bag for the front to put my dry stuff in. I just found this that I think I'm gonna get for hauling the cooler now. I might get one for each side for those SLOW rides we take sometimes when get really thirsty! LOL!

Trust me, you'll forget its back there and along comes one good wheelie which will relieve that contraption of duty in a hurry.

That's really just gonna be a template for me to make a stronger one. I might use that one on my rancher since it doesn't have the power to wheelie. I'm planning on building one modeled after that thing that will hold up incase I do let a wheelie get away from me or something. It should protest the tail light surrounding with it on there. I've had to replace that thing twice now from high nooning it. LOL!

I haven't been riding with it yet so I can't say for sure. The box says it "highly water resistant" so take it for what it's worth. They have them on Ebay but I got it from Rick Roush direct atv accessories or something like that. It's got a foam lining in the whole thing that's about 1/4" thick so it would take a lot of water to really get inside it.

I dont have pictures, but i have a tamarack hard box on my front rack and it only stands about 8 inches tall. It pretty much holds all the crap you need for a days ride they make all kinds of good boxes and bags.

I have the same bag. I like it but the cooler leaks and causes all the other compartments to get wet. The zippers are a little hard to work with when they get covered on mud. It has decent back support for a passanger as far as a soft bag goes.

I have the same bag DD but I haven't noticed my cooler compartment leaking. I like mine but haven't gotten any dirt on the zippers as of yet. It seems like a top 10 bag thus far.

This is the bag I have, its called the matrix and its from Kolpin. It has zippers but Ive had no problem with them and Ive had the bag on 2 quads. The center part of it is a cooler and has "beverage holders" to keep bottles from breaking.

bump for great justice...& because I got the need for storage & haven't decided.

I think I want hard plastic so I can hose down & not worry. also provides good backrest for 2up.  I have seen a sweet aluminum diamond plate box at cabelas, but for $200 it was small

If you please, post some reviews of your bag/boxes, in return...a friends honda & some well made very utilitarian home jobbers.
