ORIGINAL: muddyfuzzy that's pretty slick gordo, glad to see thinking out of the box. i have had good luck with the ebc sintered metal pads, the stockers only lasted about 4 rides. That's why I started making my own,,,, paying full pop for stock pads that don't last,,,, got quite expensive,,,, I can make a set (4 pads) for less than $3.00,,,, and they last real well,,,, my wife's bike got a new set before Marengo,,,, and we ride every weekend thru mud, water and sand,,,,, and her brakes still have over 70% pad left,,,, I like them. And the best part is, my brother in law found the plant over in Magnolia where they produce the material (green woven brass) that I was buying from McMaster Carr,,,, and they gave him a PILE of scrap end cuts,,,, enough maerial to keep all of our bikes in brake pads for years,,,, all I got to buy now is the JB Weld,,,,
