Status: offline 		I will be there again this year. I will plan ahead and try to get a hotel as close as possible. Even though I am just coming from Shreveport its still cheaper to stay in a hotel than to buy the gas to go back and forth everyday. I just hope fuel prices do drop between now and then. I still spent about 150-175 in fuel between the brute and dodge this year at 3 bucks a gallon. Between fuel, hotel, food, beer, entry fee, I think I spent about 500-600 total.

Status: offline 		The thing to do is camp out there. Our group consisted of 3 motorhomes and about 8 travel trailers.

if you can't buy a Travel trailer, you can actually rent one for the week, is certainly cheaper than buying one. That's what some buddies are gonna do for MN09.

Status: offline 		Besides all the rain, the weather was pretty good.  We are going and staying in tents.  I WILL have my own shower though!  I definately have to bring way more beer though.  Im trying to configure a BBQ pit to bring to the sand pit and cook for whoever wants to eat

    Status: offline     		alright so april 1-5 is the set in stone date?  if so I am gunna go ahead and take my vacation for next year guys!  I missed this year b/c I was stuck in the middle of the gulf of mexico.  But I won't be caught with my pants down this year! 

    Where is the exactly location? and who do I need to contact about reserving a camper spot?  I suppose they have running water and electricity correct?   I bought a 30' Outback Sidney edition by Keystone, just for camping and riding wheelers.   SO I plan on using it next year

    Status: offline     		Josh, this is chris from the creek. I called highlifter and they said these are the dates. I have already called and got us some rooms at Best Western about 3-5 miles from the ride. I've stayed there the last 5 yrs. As far as gettin hookups at the park, GOOD LUCK. You can go primitive with a generator and park anywhere. Its like woodstock for 4-wheelers. Ha. Them fields are full of campers.

    Location is in Jacksonville Texas...they don't start reserving camper spots till either late of this year or early next, I can't remember. But they go QUICK. Like within an hour or 2! There's a bunch of hotels in J'ville, but they fill up pretty quick once it gets closer. Ready for next year already! Hopefully the weather won't be as wacky as it was this year!

    mud creek needs some rain now
    i was there saturday and it should be called dusty dry creek
    sand pit is bone dry, and one little creek running under the highline road was the only wet spot on the whole highline other than a couple bottomless puddles

    Status: offline     		SSCARD, You should have been there Friday.  It was raining when we woke up and my buddy was in a tent and the water was so deep that his air mattress had floated and hit tent flipped over.  East Texas just dries up quick with all that sand
