Well, since it starts on a Wednesday, and in 2009, April 1st is a Wednesday, I would assume this will be the actual start date.  In which case, as of Today, April 8th, 2008, there are 358 days to MudNats 2009.

It cost me 500 in fuel.  350 (or close) in a broke axle.  about 100 on food and stuff
Then there's all the stuff that I bought for my bike that I probably would have bought sometime in the next 6 months, but ended up buying it all now for nats.  That list includes:
    mudzillas
    audiopipe
    clutch kit
    bar ends
    waders
    sleeping bag
    cooler
and a bunch of other little things

The only good thing cost wise is that I sold some tires and parts I had sitting around for about 375, so it offset soem of the cost.

We spent $125.00 in gas, but we are only 130 miles away. I would have never made it from Florida. My hats off to you guys and the Mudtech guys and not to forget Mike Walker.

I just read a report that said by the end of winter this year diesel would be over $5.00 a gallon and gas would be over $4.00 a gallon.  Diesel was $4.20 a gallon in Whitsborough Tx. on saturday so its on its way.  I jsut hope there are some major changes for next years nats.  Or i will just come in and race and then go back home.

I can understand what you are saying.  I didn't even go, but when we came back today I was thinking.....

HOW IN THE WORLD DID ALL THOSE ATV'S FIT DOWN THE POWERLINE!!!!! THEY NEED TO MAKE IT WIDER OR HAVE TWO MAJOR ROADS GOING IN OR OUT!!

Unbelieveable how many beer can's were on the ground.  If I wanted to I could had picked cans up all day, and probaly would of earned $500 taking them and recycle.  It's unbelieveable how people have no respect and are lazy not to clean up after themselves.  People left tents that were torn up and chairs..ect

    So much trash

^^^^ I am surprised the park doesnt have people come in and clean the stuff up. I know after every event down here they pay people to come pick up all the trash. They dont really have any choice because they have cows on the property when there is no event, but still I would think MC would do the same.
