Exactly just like the size of your bike. That little rice burner. lol. I couldn't help that. I passed one at night one time and I was pullin a load of wood chips to the mill in an old Peterbilt and he came up beside me and jumped in front of me and then went to the otehr side of me and slowed down and let me get by him and then he went to come back up my side. He got by the cab and I layed on the train horns and I thought he was gonna end up in the next state

Haha. Well right now my bike looks like a pile of $h!t. I was truckin along today doing about 40 and all of a sudden I hear ka-pop. Next thing I know I look down and in slow motion I watch the left tie-rod pop out of the socket and come loose and then I slowly watch the tire jerk sideways. Then In fast forward I ended up going over the handlebars and ended up with my abck agaisnt a tree about 80 feet away with my bike layin upside down in the road

sorry to hear about that Doug.  a tie rod end failed on my at the stem while i was trail riding, but i got lucky cause the tierod end wedged on the frame pretty tight and kept the wheeel from turning all the way out like it did to you. i check em every time i ride as a precaution cause that aint a good feeling to see that wheel go left while the handlebars are straight.

Thats where mine failed at. We went riding at wambaw this morning and I heard it kinda clacking around when I was taking the whoops. IT would do good if I was steady on the gas. I guess because it kept the weight of the bike off the frontend. Anyway I stopped and checked it and figured that it was the tierod so I was taking it easy. I didn't wanna ruin a whole day of riding so I just took it easy. We went back to teh truck and somehow the ball-joint and wedged itself in the socket so it was fine the rest of the day at Wambaw.

Me and SCBoys got home and it was hot so we just started cruisin around to cool off and we ended up about 15 miles from my house on my huntin club. WE were ridin around in a big sand pit and when we went to leave we got on the road to come out. Its solid clay. We call it the CeeCee road. Never figured out why but anyway I came around a curve drifting the back end out a little bit just chillin and when I got staightened out I saw it all happen. The frame and A-arms on my bike are way too open to hold the tie-rod in. I just watched it drop off the ball-joint and come to rest on the lower arm.

Anyway I don't reallt remember actually flipping but I remember goin over the handlebars and then when I opened my eyes my back was up against a tree and my bike was off in a field a little bit. Anyway I got on the back of ScBoys raptor and we took it easy on the way home. We got home and hooked up the trailer and went back to get the bike. Mind you me driving down rutty roads with a fractured butt bone and ribs. Not comfortable.

Thanks for the concern guys. The doc said I just gotta take it easy for a few days until I feel okay enough to do anything. I got so mad at the bike its just sittin on the trailer in the yard lookin like a crushed up beercan. lol. Its not that bad. I bent the right side tierod up pretty bad and I think I twisted the handlebar bracket so my bars are fairly crooked. I think everything else is okay. I know I broke the rear left fender bracket and I think something broke on the front left fender bracket.
