TuckerRacing -> 700 Rhino Knockoff (3/19/2008 9:15:54 AM)

I got to see and drive one of the 700 Rhino knockoffs this weekend. I also compared it side by side a 700efi Rhino. Here is an out the door price if you had to pay tax on one in Texas $7300.00 with a 1 year warranty on parts and labor also includes a 2500lb winch that looks just like a warn without it saying warn. I was told by the importer that these are produced in the same factory as the Rhinos. The motor looks like a 660 motor but is a 68?cc (cant remember exactly) carb. The air intake, the exhaust is all like a 660. We put a 700 cdi from one of the 700 fourwheelers that they make and with two people in it we ran it up to 53mph and had to get out of the gas. The bed is 3 inches longer and the main differences are cosmetic.

Here are some of the things that look like they came right off the Rhino without the badgeing:
Seats the brackets and mounts are the same.
The floorboard with just kickers comeing up to stop your feet from slideing out.
Dash
Glove box
steering wheel
diff lock/4wd switch
shifter, parking brake lever
engine cover
tailgate
suspension
Calipers- We put a rear on a 660 Rhino that had one leaking so we know they will interchange
Exhaust
Front Bumper with minor differences
Fuel pump
The plastic body color piece that is above the dash

The instrument cluster reads has the mph and tach at the same time. Also has gear selector, parking brake indicator, fuel level, 4wd/diff lock indicator, low beam/high beam indicator.

This one had 4 lights in the front instead of haveing two. It is an A model which looks better IMO compared to the B model which has hazards and is not quite as sporty.

You can get these in a 500/600/700.

I will post some pictures when I get home this evening.

That looks like a Rhino to me!

kickaskey -> RE: 700 Rhino Knockoff (3/20/2008 6:59:49 AM)

wow that is crazy.  they look like the same thing, all the parts and everything.  You almost have to buy one cuz thats a steal of a price... how does it run?

justin99 -> RE: 700 Rhino Knockoff (3/20/2008 8:12:44 AM)

I have a red and a blue 600's. I am in the process of putting the blue 600 together right now. I agree they look identical to the rhino. I'm glad to hear the cdi worked as I was told they would not work, yet.

scbrute -> RE: 700 Rhino Knockoff (3/20/2008 12:30:35 PM)

Who makes these, and what are they called?

when you say cdi from atv, are you referring to the cdi from a 700 grizzly?

Can I get this information? Also what dealers  have these?

justin99 -> RE: 700 Rhino Knockoff (3/20/2008 2:40:37 PM)

I do. I just got my first shipment in on Monday. I am pretty far from you though.

TomBFL -> RE: 700 Rhino Knockoff (3/20/2008 5:12:26 PM)

Pictures shown are for a carbureted version? If not: is the air intake where the intake on the 660 used to be? (center console) Can't really tell from your pic.

Also see they still have the old parking brake that always gets stuck.

You can find '07 660s for barely 10% more than the knockoff still.

I'd have to be really tight on cash to consider paying $10/month less to get the knockoff version.

P.S. : Did you mount a speaker in the front wheel well?

Also see they still have the old parking brake that always gets stuck.

You can find '07 660s for barely 10% more than the knockoff still. Where have you found a new one that cheap?

I'd have to be really tight on cash to consider paying $10/month less to get the knockoff version.

P.S. : Did you mount a speaker in the front wheel well? Know it comes like that.

You are getting more cc's in the knock off and with a $65.00 cdi it will run nearly 60mph

justin99 -> RE: 700 Rhino Knockoff (3/20/2008 8:18:06 PM)

From what I was told, the 500 is the same as the 450, the 600 is the same as the 660 and the 700's are pretty equal.

rubicon03 -> RE: 700 Rhino Knockoff (3/20/2008 8:19:59 PM)

three things i saw that i like 1. heat sheild above rear diff yamah really needs one of these. 2. the frame is already notched in the rear. 3 the front drive shaft looks a lil beefer

justin99 -> RE: 700 Rhino Knockoff (3/20/2008 8:27:16 PM)

I am going to be taking my 600 out on sat but will get some good pics tomorrow. Need to get the SS wheels installed first :)
