TuckerRacing -> 700 Rhino Knockoff (3/19/2008 9:15:54 AM)
|
I got to see and drive one of the 700 Rhino knockoffs this weekend. I also compared it side by side a 700efi Rhino. Here is an out the door price if you had to pay tax on one in Texas $7300.00 with a 1 year warranty on parts and labor also includes a 2500lb winch that looks just like a warn without it saying warn. I was told by the importer that these are produced in the same factory as the Rhinos. The motor looks like a 660 motor but is a 68?cc (cant remember exactly) carb. The air intake, the exhaust is all like a 660. We put a 700 cdi from one of the 700 fourwheelers that they make and with two people in it we ran it up to 53mph and had to get out of the gas. The bed is 3 inches longer and the main differences are cosmetic. Here are some of the things that look like they came right off the Rhino without the badgeing: Seats the brackets and mounts are the same. The floorboard with just kickers comeing up to stop your feet from slideing out. Dash Glove box steering wheel diff lock/4wd switch shifter, parking brake lever engine cover tailgate suspension Calipers- We put a rear on a 660 Rhino that had one leaking so we know they will interchange Exhaust Front Bumper with minor differences Fuel pump The plastic body color piece that is above the dash The instrument cluster reads has the mph and tach at the same time. Also has gear selector, parking brake indicator, fuel level, 4wd/diff lock indicator, low beam/high beam indicator. This one had 4 lights in the front instead of haveing two. It is an A model which looks better IMO compared to the B model which has hazards and is not quite as sporty. You can get these in a 500/600/700. I will post some pictures when I get home this evening.
