the 800 batcap has 800 cold cranking amps at startup, not sure the nominal CCR, the Odyssey had 925 at start for 5 seconds, but way to heavy, 25 pounds vs 14 pounds for the batcap

so, can the batcap function just like a normal battery?  not sure how the cells in it work...

yeah bry, but for me its a weight issue

almost30s, got the pm's, checked out the batcap specs, i think i would go with a standard larger AGM battery or dry cell over the batcap, just don't know enough about it

I did and a few others have. They work perfect after the relay. Just look at the wiring diagram that Elkbow posted and you can't go wrong. I tried mine out tonight for the first time out trail riding and they are awesome!

Yeah my buddies freaked out when I turned them on. I don't know if yours does it but mine make a whining noise when they come on. It's pretty cool! I like being able to have just my outer lights on to with the amber bulbs in there. It looks like it's ready for business. I took my swaybar off today to try that out and that was a big help too. It rides tons smoother even with the shocks almost as stiff as they go. There's a couple really bad rutted out places where we went that usually I come close to flipping and it kept all the tires on the ground. It's sweet!

i made a diagram on using relays on the previous page

for the swaybar, my experience is leave it connected, for multiple reasons, i did some serious testing with the polaris's, the only time it help was steep rocky downhills where i was crawling along, no other place did it help, it hurt, it may make it seem to ride smoother, but go along a trail and put your tires i a rut and see what happens, it will actually lean more, because you are not doing both the front and rear end, it doesn't work right and the springs/shocks aren't setup for it

How did you do high and low? I would have done that too but from what I understood it could only be one or the other.

did you see the warranty
Factory Warranty:
  • 2 years, except 1 year for bulbs

Extended Warranty Plans cover the complete HID product including HID bulbs, ballasts, igniters and harnesses.

plus i did not pay that price haha
i payed 275. for hids and extended warranty and two hids for my bar lights that had the h3 bulbs 55 watt and replaced them with hids 65 watts
it sure will be bright

yeah, i can throw away the old sets and last alot longer and don't have to return any for warranty or make any contact, you still got a good price considering the prices of HIDS, but not what the ebay is selling for
