I doubt it for 09.  Maybe for 10, but I don't think so for 09.

Bump, don't let this thread die! Also, Polaris is presenting to an investor group on Monday, the last time that happened, they introduced the RZR and Victory Vision.

I think with all the new stuff they came out with in 08'( RZR,crew,450mx,525 sra) i dont see them coming out with any new models, maybe just some revisions of the current models and some fix updates.

Corporations, such as Polaris, typically meet with investor groups in order to tout their stock. Investor groups are typically institutional investors, such as mutual fund managers. Polaris uses this time to explain its finanical strenght and market position in order to entice the investors in to buying its stock. The more demand, the higher the price. These meetings happen all the time and are rarely linked to any one product release, and proprietary information is seldom released in this fashion.

Whew!!  I feel like Will Ferrel in Old school. I think I blacked out for a minute.

I know it doesn't guarantee a new release, it's just wishful thinking on my part. But assuming Rath Racing is competing on whatever quad we've been talking about, be it the next gen sportsman, or renegade competition, the first WPSA race is mid May, so I'd think it has to be out by then.

Exactly, I have owned every brand of atv made. and by far, the polaris is better than any of the competition. I can't wait to see what polaris comes out with for 09', very interested in finding that out.

I too have seen how they are built and have traveled the extra few miles to see Cats being built.   Lets just say that Polaris is what I will only own.

Oh well the 850 popo motor is going to be a beast with its class leading 80+ hp in  utility class machine.

Oh can anyone say power steering through out the line up?    Yeap I knew you could.

I've also seen both assembly plants.  AC uses assembly processes which are easier but less durable and less reliable.  Polaris tends to use assembly techniques which may be more cumbersome or complicated, but create a better machine.

I have to say from owning both machines, the AC was not as high quality as the polaris' are. Mine did not hold up very well at all. Just look close at them side by side, the polaris is MUCH beefier. I dont see where all that weight comes in on the cat.

That's great, but WHEN?? End of July like usual, or will there be an early 09' release. I'm pretty sure enough's been leaked, we know all the basics. Why doesn't Polaris just release the stupid thing already. I don't know how the whole release process works, but how hard could it be to snap some pics and write up a press release and send it to all the mags and onlines? What's the reasoning on holding out until a certain date?
