I connected a longer hose inside the air box and put a loop in it and tied it all the way at the top just under the airbox lid, tried to git it to the highest point. I still may change it i like the way the filter deal looks.

So.... If U do this and submerge the machine, with motor running, U would only have water on top of the pistons and none would make it into the bottom end??

Well the air box is sealed and with the air box snorked, the only point of water entry is the snorkel inlet it's self. I have done many miles of water riding with snork's without submerging the snorks' and never had water in the motor. So a precaution is what it is right? The way U guys ride with racing I can see it as a necessity with the chance of being flipped upside down. One more thing to add to the list I guess LOL.

That's it a precaution, The only permanent fix to keep water out of a engine is not ride in any water, but we all do so any precaution helps.

BLACK_GRIZZILLA, your bike looks great! I am going to do the crankcase mod as soon as i can find a chrome filter.

Call me i have not forgot, I have been busy at work. I had a guy that was going to bring me a hl rad and his front rack and i was going to use that for a jig. I'm really trying to avoid pulling mine all back apart. But he has not called me. I think he got the price of the rad and changed his mind lol... I really only need the fan shroud and the shroud that protects the rad. The radiator and fan shroud are the same bolt holes. Maybe you have an extra one laying around and a front rack. I hope i can find someone local and i will give them a good deal on a bracket if they will furnish what i need to build one.

Well, I would have to say boxslinger and Blackgrizzila's Can-Am's are the 2 finest pieces of machinery i've ever seen...the LTD edition is very sharp and the camo one is just awesome..I WILL HAVE ONE SOON...Ha, I hope...but what i was gettin to is what size lift is on the camo one and what'd that costs? if you don't mind me askin, and the 31's on the silver one definitely need to be on the camo one...anyways..NICE BIKE guys and good luck on your rides and keep updated pics posted please!!

Redgrizz, get with greenhead or call catvos and he will give you a price. That camo has a catvos 6" lift, and i had a chance to get 31's but decided on 29.5's. I personaly feel that 31's or 32's is just to much tire for the type of riding that i do. I break enough with 29.5's at least i did with my last bike. Have not broke anything yet (knock on wood) with the can am.

Do the mounting brackets that come with the HL Triple Flow not work on the Can-Am racks? The ones you fabbed up look really good, i had a friend fab some for my stock radiator a wahile ago...

not really. you are still going to have to fab something. i use the top and the bottom and cutoff the L shaped piece that would have mounted on the plastic front top.
