we went to arkansas left sat and just got back yesterday and we made out good got power last night so we happy. cant drink the water ibut i can live with it. so far everyones good thats great. but we aint out the water yet got somemore coming. IKE dont look like he playing.

hey guy and gals, we faired pretty well in franklin, besides the fact that the crack head that live at the end of my street tried to break into my house, and broke into my neighbors house during the storm. good thing is he got caught by the sheriff and then the sheriff had a heart attack while checking for damage on my house! At my shop we had 9 big "good for nothing" water oaks fall but missed the shops. So all n all we did pretty good. Hope everyone did O.K., and that everyone is safe!

well found out last night what happens when some a hole throws a matress in a very deep hole,had to pull it out of my tire with a winch and come to find out it broke my shaft!!!!!!!

i was about to use the fourwheeler to pull an old dodge pickup that doesnt run, but candace told me dont do it cuz i would end up breaking an axle or breaking a u-joint

ne1 ever been to mudstock before? ne idea when they start letting you in the park? i checked there website and it said 12:00pm thursday(noon???)

ne idea if they are going to do like mud nats and let u in a day early or early AM or anything, trying to figure out if i needa just take off thursday and friday or if i need to take off all week like im probably going to do instead to clean up the bike and such before hand and get everything packed up

You don't really want to come early for Mudstock, plus I really don't think they'll let you in early for it. I'd just plan on showing up on Thursday. It's an awesome event!

aww ur no fun amanda, well i guess ill plan to leave early am thursday morning to drive over and start to wait in line, im sure people start to line up early to get into the park, can you verify that at all amanda?

and why wouldnt u want to come early for mudstock? i know there is alot less people going to be there but didnt know for sure if they would allow you in early to set up camp

also amanda what is the weather like around the time of this event? shorts and tshirt or pants and long sleeve shirt during the day? also what do the nights get to be, they get cold during the night? prob gonna be tenting it unless someone has an extra couch in there camper for me and the lady to catch a few hours of Z's each day

I'm not really sure about a line...there's really never a long line to wait in at Mud Creek so I wouldn't worry too much about that. And it's not that you don't WANT to come early for Mudstock, I just don't think they'll let you in early. Weather...c'mon, it's Texas, ya never know ;) But usually it's fairly nice...last year it was REALLY dusty at Mudstock, shorts and tshirt during the day, but maybe jeans and a light jacket at night...Last year was fun besides all the dust. They had a huge jumbotron TV thing set up in the front playing the LSU game. I can't wait for it!

yea i heard they were going to have a big giant tv type thing that it said would be going during the swampcross competition showing replays and stuff

but heck if the LSU game is on it will really be in like flint

We had a good time...we left on Sun after the bogs, had company over on Labor Day so had to get the house ready. Ate some good food on Sat night (including the hogs my hubby skinned-lol!) and listened to some good music and crashed! Are yall goin to be at Mudstock?
