Status: offline 		this is really suckin.  i am not sure WHAT we are going to do yet.  i am getting things in order at the house and will keep ya'll updated.  might just board down the house and head out with the camper.  is there anyplace to slap my camper if i bring it or is all the camping taken??  if we bring the camper we would just stay a few extra nights if it is a direct hit...........is that possible??

Just want everyone to stay safe. Ya'll all know there is nothing I wouldn't do for ya'll just say the word and I am on the road to help. Everyone is welcome at our place. Don't think mine will do you much good but we can all head out to Barry's together.

Status: offline 		okay i just called and got a camp spot with power and water for sat and sun night.  just might be doing this if i can get the house buckled down.  i might need some help getting the wifes bike fixed when i get there but we will see. LOL  easy fix just the front drive shaft seal..........but anyway.........i am working on it.........we shall see.

 Mark you know you can get any help from us.  If you need a spot for camping afterwards I got plenty of room at the house.  Lisa's bike will not be a problem.  I still got mine tore down right now on the dyno...

If anyone needs to stay over from LA my house is about 20 minutes from Jville and I have plenty of room for campers and I have three spare rooms. Just watch out for the TRV in the living room

The TRV is being built from all new parts, it started as a prototype frame from AC with 950 motor mounts and is slowly looking like a bike instead of a skeleton. Im going to build it in the living room to keep it extra clean and then I will roll it out the back door when its done. I have four bikes and one bare frame in their now. Plus my garage has about two inches of dirt on the concrete from me being to lazy to wash the bikes after I unload them.

Just had my day off canceled for tomorrow.
Due to the "state of emergency" declared by our governer for a tropical storm 1800 miles away. The PD has cancelled all approoved requests for time off and scheduled vacations until further notice. STUPID!!!!!!!
Good chance this thing goes way west and misses us all and everybody feels like they gotta react just for the sake of reacting. Anyway, I will have have to pay someone who is already off on friday to work for me.. and it aint cheap... plus stay in constant phone contact with the PD in the event of a "catastrphic" event..
WOW. I'll be back to work on my regular days by time this thing hits tuesday.. IS it a friggin hurricane or meteor???.. I hate politics

Sounds like you need to be working on the FD side Brotha..  We just sub for days between us.  Just tell them it is a brothahood...  They just laugh at me when I get a sub to go racing...  It was pretty tough to get one this weekend due to dove season opens monday around here.  We will being heading that way after lunch tomorrow.  I got the power tools loaded up for some testing and tuning...

Status: offline 		I hope everyone get to go this weekend......Mark you might as well just nail some plywood on the windows and doors, load your bikes in your toyhauler, and head to rural shade. Aint nothing you can do about the hurricane even if you are there. So you might as well just enjoy yourself this weekend and let mother nature handle herself......I just got done making 10 lbs of potato salad, and a ton of bbq beans. I will start marinating the 15 lbs of chicken breasts tomorrow and they will sit in the marinade until they are cooked.

I should be there by noon tomorrow and will set up camp and be ready to have a few cold ones.

If anyone has meat that they want marinated just let me know. I will have 3 or 4 bags of marinade ready to soak any and all meats.

We usually sub but most of the guys that I could sub with have there days filled up with extra duty. Thing is though that Only a select few on the shift have the weekends off (Senior Corporals)  my days off fall sat sun and mon. SO, if your gonna pay anyone of those guys to cover you basically pay there overtime rate. Yep, its purdy dang high. Put it this way, I'm 7th on the roster as corporal's go and I aint even thinking about working for anyone for less then 250 bucks( BASICALLY MEANING THAT YOU BETTER BE IN A BIND FOR YOU TO BE CALLING ME). So you know I'm about to bend over!! As it stands, I'm still on.. Bent over and took it like a man.. with some of barry's butter. See ya'll friday....b i t c h es!!!!!
Oh by the way.. For you movie buffs.. I'm calling Gustav  ELE   the way this state is reacting. Trust me it makes since. Free g o r i l  la hat for the person who figures out the movie ELE came from. You have till 3pm CST.

 Dang it I wish I was at the station today..  I work with a guy that is like a blockbuster...  He knows the stupidish lines in movies...  Guess I will just have to get a third place for a hat...

Status: offline 		This hurricane stuff is just really blowin my mind! There was a 15 minute segment on our news HERE over the hurricane! It's not even going to have that big of an effect on East Texas, if any! I'm just ready for the weekend...and IT'S FRIDAY! Dawayne, I'm glad you are coming even though it SUCKS what happened with your job! At least you got out of working! :)
