No but its a good idea to. I have mine going down the frame to the front then looped then up to my pod with a filter on it. It will prevent water from going straight into your motor.

Why did you take the crankcase vent off the airbox?

I just always do it as extra insurance. I loop it cause I did on my Foreman and I sank it and no water got into my oil so I trust it alot better.

There was what all i read 2 different sizes of flexable tubing used 1 used 2.5 in. flexable tubing and the other used 1.5 in. what is actually the best size to use to let the belt breath good and not overheat it. In the summer i ride alot in the creek and when it gets to cold to do that i will go tare up a mudhole. i ride pretty hard so can anyone help me

I have never had any trouble out of my 1 1/2" PVC, it's really up to you, but you don't NEED 2" or 2 1/2".

I agree with Andy ( full mod. king quad), as far as advantages to the bigger pipe(for the belt), I think it's only/mostly preferance!  I used 1.5" black ABS for mine & it's been great so far! ....Brandon

I use 1-1/2" on my cvt and it gets hot enough to burn the side of my leg when I'm backing up and going forward alot in the woods. I kinda wish I ran 2" .But it's not to much of a problem when I'm playing in the mud.
I whish there was more pics of the air box connection.

I don't think it will hurt the bike to run 1-1/2" but I think it would be a litttle cooler to run 2".

I have to agree with that, cooler (IMO) is better. Go with the 2" and you wont have anything to worry about.

Does anyone know if they sell 2" spa hose? All i can find is 1 1/2".

I just snorkeled my 08 KQ 750EFI, but only the rear CVT exahust. This machine isn't going to be a hardcore mudder just an overall machine that may run mud, deep creek crossings, etc... In my opinion the front CVT intake is fine (unless you are a hardcore mudder or a submarine type person), but the rear CVT must be snorkeled regardless of riding style.

The CVT snorkel is super easy as you guys have pointed out. All I did was use the factory rubber neck, put  a 2" / 1 1/2" reducer with a 90 degree angle PVC, ran a 1 1/2" pool hose under the rear gas tank/over the drive shaft, wrapped it all the way around the left side, and it dumps out just underneath the pod near the handlebars. Totally, stealth no big pipes or snorkels. I have all the pics and how to on the Mag, but its super easy to do...

Check out these guys. They have every hose known to man.
They also have alot of differant kinds of plastic pipe and fittings.
If you can I would order one of their catalogs.
Their web address is www.ryanherco.com
But I can give you a direct link to some 2" pvc hose http://webcat.ryanherco.com/products/020/160/110/020160110.cfm
If you want you can call them and tell them what your looking for and they can find you what you need.
Good luck to you guys that are trying to snorkle your quad.
