350hondaman i got the 26x12x12 and 26x10x12 ,if i coulda got them skinnier on front i def woulda but that was all that was offered in 26"rs,Lost almost 10mph off top end, wasn,t impressed with that, but oh well, they bite good.Out all day today and actually got to race my Nephew on some nice 20 mile straight dirt roads. He"s tryin out his first Polaris after his 99 450-S was stolen this spring. The 2002 500H.O is dang fast,i got him by couple bike lenths on take-off,and 1mph on top end, other then that its too dang close for comfort, awsome workin 500 if i do say so,and its runnin new set of 589"s so i can,t complain to him about my heavy non stock tires, heh.
Long story short he can,t wait to buy it Mon Morn.

Well, I've been out with the Wisers for about 100km in the last couple of days.  So far, I'm not dissapointed at all.  My ride was mostly in mud and bogs and I got out've some spots where in the past I'd have used 4X4.  On this occasion, I decided to see if the rear 26/12/12 could do the trick without to go 4X4.  No problem.  As previously stated, I also did lose some top-end speed.  I also found the cornering pretty sweet.  Could it be because the side-walls are also 6-ply?  Hmm..don't the mudlites only have 2-ply sides?  Pirelly Mudwiser's have  2 thumbs up from this rider.  Now if I could only sell the two (2)  26/10/12 slightly used Mudlites I took on a trade last spring.

I will update this thread soon, I just got 27 Mudwisers on my new Brute (27x12x12 and 27x10x12). I took them because the deal with wheels was way too good to pass up. I put them right next to Mudlites they had and they were almost identical in tread pattern. I'll try 'em.

I have a set of 26's that was on my Grizzly 700 when I bought it. I think they do everything great and have over 1k miles on them now with about 1/2 gone on the rears, very little wear on the front. They have a lot of miles on gravel and a good bit on blacktop. I want some 28's but am torn between several tires cause I like Vamps, MST/Swampwitch, and of course the Mudwisers. I would hate to get another tire and not be happy with them.

Wifey on 27s

front end way less twitchy in high speed corners.  the stockers would push and catch to the point of being somewhat terrifying.

Tires have very little sidewall flex @ 5psi (6 vs 2 ply mudlite) so I have the shocks full soft & it feels like when I had the shocks on full hard & stockers @7 psi.  I like the softer shock for trailability.  some huge ruts that follow the trail on this ride.  probably will drop the psi to 4

I can't wait for snow/mud!

BTW I sold the stockers for $100 on craigslist...so don't leave 'em at the tire store if they are in good shape
