I buried one of my neighbors old school SRA Kodiaks... bald stock tires + deep mud pond don't mix.

I just purchased a 93 Kodiak 400 4x4. I bought i mainly to haul firewood. I have yet to pick the ATV up from the dealer. Does anyone know if the 93's were equipped with the hi-lo transmission?

i'd say 26" or 27" 28's fit, but with the lift it might rub.

no locker here, i've thought about it, but i'd like to be able to steer.  i'm working on a custom warn 4-2-4 install, adapted from the big bears, then i'll put a locker or just weld the spider gears.

and also rear disc brakes coming sometime, lol too many projects, also looking at an extended swing arm, to fit larger tires with the lift, got a few ideas but haven't started anything yet...

I've BOUGHT a locker for mine but haven't ever actually installed it ... I might not ever do it .. I've been thinking of selling it ... you interested?

I don't know that I'd like it fully locked all the time .. I'm already worn out after a day of riding .. I can't imagine how tired I'd be if the diff was fully locked all day!

I used to have one but sold it before I ever installed it. I found mine from someone on ebay for approx $40 but that was a year or so ago. You probably already know this but I've been told it's a beast to steer when the front diff is fully locked all the time.
