ORIGINAL: JoeDirt Just got a 98 KodiakĀ , anyone have the specs on Snorkleing a 93-98? I have snorkled many bikes and want to get some insurance on my plan to Snorkle the airbox. Snorkling a 93-98 Kodiak is very simple. I came off my airbox with a piece of 1 1/2" reinforced spa hose and ran it up front under the rack and glued it into a PVC 90, and then 1 1/2" electrical conduit up. I glued a PVC union and a 2" piece of PVC pipe to the end of the hose that connects to the airbox. I did this to give something rigid to clamp to. You will need to vent the crankcase. I vented mine up the snorkel at first, but kept getting condensation in it that would blow back on me. I came back and drilled a hole in the airbox, and glued a 3/8" barbed fitting into the box. Other than that you'll need to vent your diffs, drum brakes, and carb vent. I vented them all together using barbed T fitting and ran it up the snorkel. Here a few pics of mine. Thumbnail Image
