All clear up here in Metropolis.  Got some good rain to knock the dust down.  Me and my girlfriend just got back from a ride to a buddy's house, had some cold ones then took a little ride through shawnee forest while there was still some heat lightning going on, it was a sweet ride.  Looks like most of the rough stuff went up through Harrisburg or down through Sikeston and then to Union City, hope everyone is ok.  Looking forward to seeing ya'll Saturday!  Going to try to ride Massac Creek tomorrow afternoon if the water isn't too high.  EZ, better watch gettin' too close to the Rhino, it's addictive

i tell you what, if i had known how full and dusty it was gonna be then i may have skipped out too. there was more people there than has ever been and it was dusty real bad in the camp areas. i am going back up today to see how it is and get my bike. if it has settled down some then i may camp but i dought it.

hey grizguy, whats up with massac creek, i have heard a few people talk about it but have never been. i would sure like to hook up with you next time you ride. how long can we ride there? is it good for an all day ride or just a few hours?

It's a fun ride.  Never rode from my house to town but we're gonna try tomorrow, meeting up about noon, let me know if you wanna go.  Most of the time we get in at my buddy's dad's place and then ride toward the river til the water get's too deep.  Straight thru ride would only take about maybe an hour and a half to two hours but we stop for plenty of beer breaks and to play around so we usually make a good half day of it.

Man that place was packed!! There was alot of people there, back where we camped the dust was not to bad, and I got the water truck to make a pass or to back there and it  was ok after that, there was plenty of water in the holes saterday morning but with that many there they were drying out quick, and it was hot. probus you should have been with us saterday morning, we had a good time, grizguy will try and catch ya on another ride.

Boy it was dusty we rode saturday and camped sat night.  It was crowded, person at the gate told me they had atleast 3000 people there.  Sure was a bunch of idiots flying around every where on sport quads.  I really enjoyed the New Grizz it did well.  We had two Rhino's with us with 27" mud lites and both of them did really well in the mud.  Or atleast alot better than I figured they would.  I do not see how people did not get hurt, we had a group of about 10 450R's come by us with no Helmets women on the back climbing hills and they were flying.  All in all I had a good time just way to crowded.
