Are you uploading a picture or an avatar? If you are doing a picture, make sure to use only files that are .gif or .jpg.

I cannot seem to add image using photobucket. It shows up when im doing the post but when i click ok to submit, the photo isnt there.

Justin, try that URL instead. The URL must end in an image format for the hot linking to work correctly. I simply deleted the stuff past jpg.

Easiest thing to do is to upload it to photobucket and resize it there, unless you have some photoediting software that will not only shrink the deminsions, but the file size as well. I believe the max avatar size is 145x145 pixels (the correct sizes are listed in this thread) with a max file size of 20kb.
