Can't get my kbs down any suggestions? Got the size down to 144/98 but bytes are 63.4. I'm not real good with computers so thus is becoming a b****.

Click CONTROL PANEL up top, then MY PROFILE. Scroll down until you see SIGNATURE. Fill in what you want in the space provided and scroll down and click APPLY then Save.

Check in your profile that the option that says "Don't Show member's Avatar in posts" isn't check. Its at the very bottom were in the "Speed Options" Category.

I couldn't get mine to work either so I registered at photo bucket. You can upload your pics and vids there and use that URL for people to see. But it lets you resize your pics with a click of the mouse. For post you just copy from there then paste in your post. For Avatars and profile pics you right click, save to computer, then browse computer and upload. Really quite simple compared to trying to resize on your computer. I've been trying for awhile and just cant get it. Now my pics are coming in fine. Hope this helps. Lets see those pics.

I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to change my avitar and I can get the size under 145x145 or whatever the limit is but can't get the KB's to 20. Any ideas on why? I might retake the pic with a lower resolution on my camera but I've never had this problem.

You mentioned your problem, high resolution picture. You can download GIMP, which is an open source version of Photoshop and decrease the file size that way. There are numerous programs available on the internet that are capable of doing this, without you having to take another picture.
