Got alittle leak going on..lol it did it last time as well but i was to lazy to fix it, but it has got worse so i got to fix it now. when Iam in the deep water for like 2mins it will get the belt wet. But you know whats cool, the belt is so tight on these bikes that with the belt case 1/4 full of water it will still drive around with no real problem..lol  So it did not stop me from going deep all day.
i wil fix it this time iam sure its the rubber boot on the back thats leaking.

Yeah those boots are in a very difficult position to get to. I had a leak in mine at the last race and after the swampacross my belt housing was full of mud and water. SO inbetween races i had to take the cover off and clean it out and then race again. When i got home i filled my snorks up with water and found the leak. Tight as a drum now.

Is this were they have like a time race around a figure 8, than race around some barrells and the one with the fastest time wins.

Yes, we run 5 events total, the events are listed on the website and your placement is determined by your overall time from the 5 events. It is a family oriented event and we encourage kids to participate. Last year when we ran this we had around 4 in one rodeo and another we had about 10. I am not the one that actually runs the rodeo but am working on trying to get more in the utility class, it is a lot more fun with more riders to compete with. If you have a sport quad or any friends that do the adult 4stroke, 2 stroke, and open classes pay out to the top 3.

Ok ,yea we have one of those once a month here in Sedalia. I attended  the first one ( did not race) I just kind of observed what it was all about.
Most of the guys that ride in our group are geared tord mud riding / racing.
When I went to the last rodeo I would say 90% of the bikes that were there were sport bikes with just a few Utility bikes, and what few utility bikes that did compete
did not do well at all, they just could not get around them tight turns fast enough.
My hole intention of going to the rodeo was to try to get the land owner to build us a pit or arena circle bog so we would have a place to race.
Please do not get me wrong Mfolkert and these is just my opinion, atv Rodeo`s are really cool and the kids had a blast and just could not get enough of it, and any body trying to get
any type of atv event going my hat is of to yea .
If you folks would ever consider digging a pit or better yet a arena circle bog than count me in and I will be the first one at the gate.
The price of fuel is coming down and folks will travel, I no I will but sure would like to see some mud!!!!!!!!!
One last thing, your event is in a real good location for the people that live in the mid west you may also want to consider a poker run they are a freakin blast esspesialy if there is allot of mud.

I am did not take your post wrong, I frequent this board but don't post much. I do run a bit of mud, not near as much as what you all do, I have been trying to get some of the rodeos I run at to open up a mud bog event also lol. I knew many of you were not really set up for this sort of thing, the lift kits and tires hurt quite a bit in those tight barrel races. I have heard of the rodeos run up in Sadalia but didn't know they ran those that frequently, if you could point me in the direction for some information on them I will have to make a trip up there.
I ride both utility and sport classes, I used to run the outlander in with the sport quads classes just for fun even though I got whipped pretty bad until I bought a raptor just for that earlier this year.
I appreciate the input Sodbuster and if any of you are interested come on down!

Thanks for the flyer Sodbuster, I'll have to check that one out.
It looks like they run theirs alot different that we do here, we actually have a utility class and we run 5 events for $20 the ATV must have factory racks in order to participate in this class. Running those barrels in 4WD would be really difficult. I run an 800 outlander MAX, it is a bit too big for this sort of thing but a lot of fun anyway, those little solid axle 250cc utility bike are tough to beat in a rodeo, they slide so well, are light, and very nimble, it isn't about all out speed.

Whelp I did it again today  We went on our memorial ride, really cool lots of mud and water to play in.
Well dropped of into a hole that was almost shoulder deep and flipped the 500 over.
We got the bike out and drained it real good, fired it up drained the carb a couple 20 times and finished the ride.
All and all was a great day had a blast.

Yup the temptation was a just killing me and I already made through successfully twice, and when I went in for the third time thats when I flipped it.
It is kind of funny when I drained the oil today there was not a drop of water in the engine, so I guess we must have gotten all the water out when we had the bike up on end
and started draining it.
Anyways we found some mud, deep water, and even got to watch a brand new Ford power stroke diesel get stuck and than catch fire and burn, pert near totally destroying the rig.
Drinking and driving do not mix, these guys got to wachen how much fun we were haven taring our bikes up in the mud and in creeks and decided they were going to get there trucks and show us how it was done.
Well they sure showed us how alcohol can impair there vision and change there way of thinking and totally destroyed a brand new rig.
On top of that ( what were they thinking) I mean you do not take a rig with street tires and throw it in a hole that is just impassable with out having aggressive self cleaning mud tires.
O well they learned the hard way.
Next week end sounds good for DW..... cant waight .

Oh well sodbuster at least it was a ford I don't have much use for a ford anyway......lol. I know what you mean why do people think they can take a 8000# truck through a hole that a 800# 4 wheeler barley made it through!

Oh yeah might ride it part of the day to give the motor a better chance to seat in the rings and all, tweaked my snorkel on it some to make it alittle higher but still under the plastic and modded a stock muffler for it so its not so loud..lol

Iam going to have to put a clutch kit back in it i just dont like it without it as much.
