Yeah, if you ever have anymore problems, you should solder all the whites together, all the brown together and all the black/yellows (grounds) together. Then seperate the groups from each other and seal them so they have no chance of touching eachother and shorting out. Make sure you disconnect the ground from the battery before you do anything to the wires, or it will fry your CDI.

Yes, after soldering them, and putting the wire nuts on and the silicone in there and then taping them seperate but together I think I should be alright.

my problems with my 650i are worst than all of yalls.
first i had to re-jet because i snorkeld, 2nd the 4wd went out and the fan sensor blow,3 all the electronics went out and the 4wd and fan sensor still did not work
so my bike has been in the shop for the past month and there still finding problems

Hi every one
first post to site but a much needed one. Related to front bus connector
wiring harness melted from bus up to headlite/ starter switch  no sign of
short in light switch worst of the burning was directly out of front bus.
no corroision in front bus?? What is all wired out of front bus? any imput
appreciated, good place to buy new harness ( revised harness)

i am pumped that i ran across this post i had my brute at the dealer and told them that it would be overheating and the fan would not be running all summer this woudl happen to me, they thought i was stupid...........turns out they were the stupid ones, next bike =new dealer.....still a kawi 4 life though
