went to buy gas the other day in a huge rainstorm when i got home filled the kodiak up but did ride because of the storm went to ride today and the kodiak is spitting and sputtering and backfiring my question is do you think some water may have gotten in the gas and messed up my carb any help would be appreciated

Go to wal-mart or auto parts store and get some sea-foam, it's good stuff.

drain the gas tank.. and take apart the carb and clean it.. and u will be good to go!

He needs to get all the water out of the fuel system, use sea-foam trust me.

I'd drain the gas tank, drain the carb bowl and put some fresh gas in it with a cap full of dry gas.  Once you get it going it'll be all set.  I'm sure Sea Foam would work too......I've never used it - had water in my gas plenty of times.  I'm not really sure what it is, but I'm sure it's got its purpose.
