My son is thinking of buying a KQ 450, and I was wanting to know if there are any problems or weaknesses with them, likes and dislikes etc. Also can it turn 26" tires 10 front 12 back, all stock. Any help would be great !

From what I've heard/read they're perty peppy for only being a 450! They' re much more powerful than the Grizz 450, & not far behind the Rincon 680!  I'll also recommend waiting to check out the all new 550 PoPo, it's supposed to be a monster in it's class!  As was the case/answer on the Yamaha section, check outy the 550 Grizz, as it's supposed to be a perty potent machine in it's class, though the list price is high as Giraffe ears! LOL! Good luck & let us know what yall pick, why, & how you like it!             Brandon

With a few easy mods the 450 turns the bigger tires pretty well I spin my 27's no problem although they do measure about 26. I would have to say same strong points and weak points as the 750 KQ but with less power and better fuel milage.
Cheers
Travis

I love mine, brandon is right the power is pretty darn good for a 450.  I ran it stock with my 26" Zillas and I couldn't really feel any difference from the stock tires.  Then a few hours laer I finished installing the Dalton Clutch kit with the 1mm Coop Mod and it's really peppy now.

I bought one about a month and a half ago. So far I like it a lot. Seems to have plenty of power. I considered the 750, but knowing my 13 yr old son would be riding it some too, I didn't want to get one that big.

I just put some 27" Maxxis Zillas on it and it seems to still have plenty of power in stock form. However, I plan on adding shims and a new secondary spring for even more low end power.
