I am replacing crank in my Grizz (with stroker crank), what parts will I need besides gaskets, timing chain/gears, wrist pin clips?
It has about 4500 miles on it.

They say it bolts in with no mods. I'll let you know in a couple of days as I'm starting on it tomorrow.

Everything is looking good so far but have to wait to finish as found the skirts on my piston were cracked and had to order a new one. Stay tuned, should be done this time next week.

hmmm maybe this is the answer to my problem. i was asking about drilling wet clutch shoes on another thread to get more stall cause my bike has no low end grunt. if you snatch up on the handle bars hard you can pull a wheelie maybe i need a stroker crank instead of higher stall not sure maybe both lol ive got HMF pipe jet kit snorkeled with 30" backs on 660 grizz will stroker crank help that much? and dont someone make either a 104 or 105 mm piston for these as well i thought i seen one somewhere cause my motor is smoking any way. it has 2500 miles on it sounds like the chain or valves is rattling a little to. rocketron where did you get your crank and how much did it cost you to install start to finish if you dont mind saying. these can am guys are making me jealous pulling wheelies at 10 mph lol

I got the crank from my local dealer (it's a hot rods +4 mm). All told with piston, gaskets and a few other goodies was about $900 (you'll be a bit cheaper as I'm in Canada). The 105mm piston requires cylinder to be resleaved and crankcase to be machined. Someone on here before had the Hauck 800 kit done (stroked and 105mm piston) and had some heating problems. I think it was resolved with the H/L rad. While it won't put you in the same hp as a Can Am, this mod woke mine up pretty good. Most of the power increase is just off idle.

How many hours do you estimate it took you to install it?  I have the 686 Wiseco installed already but I have been thinking about adding a stroker crank for a while now.
