I'll do it for $2000.00. j/k
I put the 4" MBRP turbo back on my D-Max. It took about 1 1/2 hours with simple hand tools and a floor jack. If you decide to take it to a shop most wont remove the cat. If you are doing a cat-back it shouldn't cost over $100.00.

It is against the law to remove or alter emissions equipment. Most business owners wont touch it.

most companys dont say anything when you buy them for example down here in florida no one says anything not a real big deal . its not that hard to do the hardest part i would have to say is the downpipe . should take only about a hour maybe 2 with a buddy .

The kit probably said "off road use only" which technically means its illegal to take the cat off and run the truck on the street.

Our Diesel Performance Shop is in Emory Texas.  We would not have a problem nstalling it for you.  I think the onwer charges $100 for a install and that is taking the old one out and welding small stich welds on the clamps to keep the exhaust together and not twisting.

Do it yourself.

A sawzall, and WD40 are all you really need. And a wrench to get the clamp off of the downpipe. Oh and a drill or small cordless impact works nice for tightening clamps once aligned. Just try not to crush the pipe too much.

Hey texhunter what year is your truck it might not have a cat at all. Some Cummins Rams didn't have one from the factory, my freinds 97 2500 Cummins didn't.

I put a 5 turbo back on my 06 dodge in a couple hours.  Do it yourself and don't disconnect for the turbo if is it is an 06 or newer.  It already has 4 inch all the way through.  just get a delete pipe and you will be set.

You have a very good chance that you don't have a cat at all. Diesel emissions requirements were not that tight untill 2000ish. I don't see why any shop wouldn't install it for you, expecially if there is a diesel performance shop near you they would know more about trucks like that and not give you a hard time about it. It really isn't that hard to do though, I would save the cash and headache altogether and just do it myself.

i have put on exhaust systems on  all of my trucks in the last 9 yrs...and the only one that was difficult to install was my 01 d-max ( that was cause there wasn't very much room for 5 " )    Dodge was by far the easiest to install, next wld be my 6.0, then 7.3.
