so i put a snorkal on my 2000 recon and resticted the air so it ran great
i routed the rearend hoses and the 1 carb hose up to the tip of my snorkal and i put it in some water that was only to the plastic fenders and it shut off. idk what i missed could it be that the carb drain hose should be plugged?

any suggestions?

Put dielectric grease in all of your electrical connections and in your spark plug boot. I bet that is what caused your problem.

???? You need to put the grease on EVERY electrical. Don't forget to fill the spark plug boot as well. Im not going to name every plug on your bike bro. LOL Have fun with it.

Sounds like you need to install a gas on-off valve in your carb drain line.  Cut it off before heading to water.

Or stick a bolt in the end of the drain line.  Mine has worked flawlessly.
