you change the air/fuel ratio by jetting it you can put a bigger jet or smaller jet controling the fuel. I think once you jet it all your problems will be gone

Youcan't just ask the question of what jet to put into your atv...everything has an effect on your atv's jetting and performance. Even climate conditions. A person living in Northern Canada could have the exact same set-up as someone living in Florida, yet his/her jetting will be completely different. All his/her carb settings will be different as well.
You can have 2 identical atv's, with identical set-ups in identical climates, and something will be different.
Because of this, you are going to have to buy a Jet Kit. Follow the directions, and take your time with it. Dial your atv engine to its maximum potential. It will be more reliable that way, and you will enjoy it a whole lot more.
Like I said above, TAKE YOUR TIME with it. This is critical with jetting and setting up the carb. To many people rush with carb settings. They get it running and think that its. Never knowing the true potential they have at hand.
I hope this helps.

The snorkels made it very rich due to restricting the intake. You'll have to jet it to get it right. In the mean time if you just want to get it to not die and run bad at idle then you can adjust the fuel mixture screw on your carb. That controls the idle circuit and you should be able to turn the screw in a turn or 2 and get it to idle okay. When you put the pipe and filter on it then you'll be moving more air so you'll probably have to turn it back out some.
